Not sure, but I know that objectors are allowed to attend the Committee meeting and can elect a representative to speak against the application.

I'm still getting server error, anyone else getting the same?

was working fine until I actially logged in, when I am logged in when I try yo view I just get server error constantly.

What I did was just "copy" TRB's original template and "paste" it onto an email to Planning Dept's email address, and added my name and address which is a requirement apparently. My email's receipt was then acknowledged.

I've being trying to do this for a day now but still no joy, I've emailed the planning dept direct (devcontrol@wakefield.gov.uk) with the template so hopefully will get on there, I will keep trying though. However it's just come up with a message saying "this application is no longer available"

this looks like a permission peoblem, has anyone at all managed to lodge an objection who objected last time because everything works fine when not loggwd in, almost as if you placwd a complaint you now cant make an objection.

I had no problems and I objected previously mate.

I think we'd be happy enough for them to say that, as long as they backed it up with a new "watertight" s106 agreement that provides for the build of the stadium.

Although born and bred in Wakefield and lived there for many years I currently reside in North Yorkshire would my objection be accepted ?

I would say yes if your objection is for support of a community stadium for the city of Wakefield like what they promised.
wheres also the hundreds of jobs that also got mentioned

not true as it let me log-on/in and raise my objection even though I live in Sunny Barnsley.
they cannot stop anyone from objecting as long as you have followed the correct log in procedure and complete the relevant name/address etc. details.
Anyone can raise an objection/interest if it directly affects them -whether this a be home, work or leisure related issue to that person.

TRB, IA & Daddycool you may want to have a look at the other application at Newmarket that was objected against last year - Ref. No: 17/03102/REM.

I have just had a quick look and noticed a number of new documents have recently been uploaded to the application. A letter from the council asking for further information including re-examining the planning obligation for the community stadium and setting out deadlines and timescales. The additional information has been provided and uploaded, which seems to include how Yorkcourt think they can get around not building the community stadium.

It goes over my head a bit but the application is clearly still progressing although it is not clear unless you do a bit of digging....

Yeah, I've done it both times but like I said previously it was a pain to do it this time. I couldn't log in with my old details for some reason and a password reset nothing came through. So I did it by going straight to the planning portal, which I left a link on the other page and registering again there and then it was all straightforward.

WMDC website servers can't handle all the objections it seems.

If that's the case then we should reconsider the legal route.
