We all like to see them fists flying now and again and hes a terrace hero already just glad it was a friendly and will hopefully learn not to lose it as quickly in the future, saying that I hope that he keeps that side of his game. He's a good player and we'll see good things from him this season his cv speaks for itself. His performance today though reminded me of Lindsey Gill but sure he will be better

| Probably one of the benefits of his sending off was that the team got a better work out playing with 12.
Leeds exploited us out wide and again we looked weak with the high balls to the corner. All in all an enjoyable way to spend the morning and seeing Bailey kop a couple of beauty's after going looking for it added to the enjoyment.  |

One day Ryan Bailey will realise that he can't fight, there's an ever growing list of players who've sat him on his either literally or metaphorically.
Sculthorpe was the best one of the lot then there's Radford, Graham, Farrel and now Poore even Foxy was backing him up until Abletts dogshot.

Like it or not, part of Bailey's job is to antagonise and put other players off their game by making himself a target and creating space or losing the plot and getting themselves sent off. It will be Wakefield and Poore who get stung if the disciplinary decide to take further action. |

| Bailey was doing what her normally does apart from he did it with a state of origin prop. Fists get thrown 3-10 times a game over there and is what I believe the toughest games are played. Bailey chewed more than he could swallow and got what he deserved. A bit tight on the red card I believe a sin-bin would of been enough. Bailey was quiet for the rest of the game, not suprised!! |

Whilst I agree the NRL is the toughest rugby comp in the world rarely do they throw punches, that side of the game has become quite stagnant due to the professional levels they have taken the game to. Players get crucified for giving away penalties by coaches and also pick up significant bans.
It obviously happens from time to time, but not nearly as much as it used to or as often as it does over here.
As for Poore, for all the initial praise, he basically got sucked in by Bailey who has been doing it for years to great effect for Leeds. He is the master at getting under players skin and has added another victim to the long list. I cannot stand the bloke, and it's not as painful as it was a friendly but ultimately the goal is to win and Bailey plays an important role in bringing Leeds the spoils.
