| This has without doubt been a very unsatisfactory season. If as we all hope, we attract a new majority shareholder who is able to invest much needed capital into the club may I make the following suggestion. The position of President of W.T.W should be held by Neil Fox, a man who is respected throughout the game.Without Neil's timely comments the club would not have employed John Kear and we would have been relegated, he is always in attendance at our home games and as a figurehead for our club would certainly improve our chances of a new franchise. The present holder of the role is Sir Bryan Nicholson, I don,t know how or why he was appointed, if he has contributed anything positive to the club or even attended any matches, because I doubt if anyone would recognise him anyway !Anyone in agreement ? President Fox sounds good and as he is a Freeman of the City how could Peter Box possibly refuse his demands

Whilst I applaud the idea of having Neil in there, I think you should be aware that Sir Bryan Nicholson is part of the Community Trust and has therefore contributed quite a bit towards our club.
He was the Chairman of BUPA IIRC and as such is a 'big hitter'.

Yes you are and for your weak sarcasm and failure to accept that supporting a club needn't make you blind to it's obvious deficiencies - you're fired.
Meanwhile, I haven't seen Mr Elston have much impact since he arrived at the club; our marketing in particular is still absolutely dreadful, as is the matchday experience, with the Wigan 'Golden Game' debacle representing the ineptitude that exists within both those functions. Communication with supporters is sporadic and disorganised and as far as I can see, there is no genuine suppporters voice. We have a new website that often contains out of date news on the front page and we recently launched an overly complex 'membership' offer, closely followed by an incentive that was perceived to disadvantage those of us who are most likely to buy said membership.
The light at the end of the tunnel however is a potential change of ownership; a new owner will hopefully bring a level of professionalism to the club that will finally move us away from the family run, corner-shop attitude that, in my opinion, holds us back.

| There is a level of irony in Sir Bryan being chairman of the financial reporting council though

| Quote: benny the ball "stating the obvious, I know, but what a shockingly poor season we've just witnessed. Here's my take on how the team has performed - it is only my opinion.....or is it?
BLAYMIRE (4/10) - dissapointing, needs to sharpen up he makes homer simpson look quick
BLANCH (2/10)- very dissapointing, not fulfilling early potential we know his game stepping out of line
GLEESON (1/10) - gone, utter garbage slow, cant tackle cant catch
MILLARD (4/10) - 'magic'? i'm afraid not .Would rather have Atkins leg running around than him SO SLOW
GEORGE (5/10)- Needs to toughen up and play more games
JEFFRIES (6/10)- patchy, needs to work off a good halfback I agree will be good off a good halfback
KORKIDAS (7/10) - solid, but unspectacular certainly would improve coming off the bench
FERGUSON (5/10)- going backwards, needs to turn form around quickly I agree not seen him pass a ball
MORRISON (8/10)- generally good, forget age our best player this year well done glenn
DEMETRIOU (5/10)- gone, doesn;t appear to have another SL season in him - steady performer but time has run out shame but i agree
OBST (7/10) - consistent tryer but as for a talent im not sure he is not a clever player. But a good player for us.
BIBB (0/10) - not good enough - let him go
JOHNSON (2/10) - gone, below average performances waste of money. Last pay day
HENDERSON (5/10) - not spectacular - but has been a dependable asset
MURPHY (7/10) - faded towards bac end - but definitely one of seasons success stories hes a better FB
KING (7/10) - solid performer done well this season
LEO-LATU (7/10) - gone, brilliant one minute, He gets us playing he will be a loss
COOKE (1/10) - nowhere near good enough on form shown with trinity if we sign him for more then i wont be going next year hes DONE - release
MORTON (5/10) - patchy form - needs more game time
DAVEY (6/10) - as above i THINK DAVEY has a lot of potential.
MOORE (4/10) - sorry, but form has gone backwards this season but been a great player for us i would keep and see how he does next year bad year but would give a chance has he has been great for us.
GLEDHILL (5/10)- given a chance, patchy form but shows signs of promise
KIRMOND (7/10) - gone back to Giants, but turned in regular above average performances - which in this team is good! would try to sign
LEAENO (6/10) - limited appearances, but what I've seen is good
RINALDI (6/10) - workmanlike, good cover - would keep
JOHN KEAR (5/10) - sorry to say this, I'vebeen a big fan - bit this year his performance appears to have gone backwards - I would still back him for next season - but there needs to be a real improvement'"
THATS MY TAKE ON IT.

| Positive's - Murphy, Morro, King, Kirmond & Obst
Improvement Required - Gleeson, Blanch, Korki, Johnson, Moore, Cooke
Consistency required - Latu, Jeffries, Blaymire
Par - Millard, George, Rinaldi, Morton, Demetriou, Ferguson, Hendo
Future Prospects - Gledhill, Davey, Leano
Thinking back we've had an although lot of injuries to contend with this season. I'm expecting Ferguson, Blanch, Murphy, Morton, Gledhill, Davey, Jeffries and Blaymire all to improve due to their experience this season or through overcoming injuries (i.e. Blanch's serious injury) & Jeffries will improve with a consistent and dominant SH.

sam comes out of this season with the credit id like to give every one of them, but cant;
he wants to play for us, he tries his nuts off every week, and he never gives up.
glen m and sam as captain and vice next year, rest....explain yourselves!

| Sam is a 100%er no doubt and he won a couple of games on his own this year, but during the campaign as a whole he performed below par imo. He avoids criticism from most because of his excellent attitude and approach to the game even when he has played poorly. Between him and Hendo I personally feel people are slightly blinded when they make judgements on their actual ability/contribution to the team
