Don't know if there is anything to it but plenty of rumours about Aiton( for a couple of months) and Possibly Kirmond coming to Leeds with you getting Moore ,Clarkson and Kirke with some ££ as a sweetner.
Also Poore has been mentioned as another possible deal to be done but there's a lot of guessing involved due to Kath hetherington joining your board.

I hope it's a lot of cash because I don't see a great benefit in signing at least two players who have indicated they either no longer wanted to play for Wakefield or didn't want to when given the opportunity. Why would we need three additional forwards unless of course Kear was coming back to coach the 5 drive and kick method.
MC would need to be quite a salesman to try to sell this to the supporters. He may think selling season tickets are hard now but after this sort of news it would virtually impossible so I presume it is just another rumour born out of the void that is Wakefield Trinity.

The fact that it's been only rumour for so long, probably means its just rumour.

It's not that they haven't signed, just that they haven't signed yet. Very possible they will.

Maybe the players who were out on loan at donny last season are feeling a bit in limbo wanting to know whats in store for them next year before signing.

It's fair to say that they can expect a fair amount of game time, possibly too much !

From the list I believe that Washbrook, Wildie, Cowling, Walshaw, Goulding & Kaye are out of contract. I presume it could be the same for Shulver & Maskill but not sure. That leaves 17 including Cockayne. We have lost a lot of experience and in Smith a natural play maker.

The Tom Briscoe rumour was around virtually ALL season mate the same before we signed Peacock.
I will say this IF Gary Hetherington comes out in the press and says we are not interested or not signing "Kirmond ,Aiton ,or whoever" it's 99.9% a done deal!!
