In terms of how long, I have no blind time limit like some but id like to see us play the teams I see as bottom half of the table first and also see us at home.

3 tries scored in three games! Not the first time this has happened under Chester either.

So you not prepared to give a time scale but you ask for the club to be given time unbelievable

If we don`t make a change very soon, we are going down IMO this season, there`s no 2 ways about it.

Only thing we can bank on is Leigh not improving which I think they will.

We all know he will still be in charge against Hull and hopefully whatever plan Chester is using comes to fruition. If not he will make no difference because he will still be in charge for the Catalan game with the same hope.
I guess they will keep on going until we put on an average performance which by law of averages even Chester should be able to produce. It will then be hoped that all previous failures are forgotten and he can start again.
I cannot think of any coach or manager in any sport who have retained their employment with a track record like Chester’s. I guess most sports clubs realise the impact of a string of poor performances have on their league status and revenue and take the necessary action to at least try to remedy the situation. They cannot sack the squad so then invariably go for the one in charge, the one whose job it is to get the squad to function as a team with some kind of game plan.

Sky Sports are advertising a coaching masterclass with Chris Chester on Thursday night - I'm guessing it is just a short programme?

Personally I think it would be a good time to play them, early on when they have new players, missing some as well as us, not in the groove etc, but it doesn't matter now, we have been in with a chance at half time in all 4 games, then just poor second halves, what else can you say?!! If we were due to play Leigh next up, how confident would you be of winning? I wouldn't be confident at all, just mildly hopeful!!

The problem is that, it's not the defeat against Saints, it's the mickey poor 2 seasons that have preceded it.
We've gone from a top 5/6 side and become a side whose ambition is to not finish bottom.

Last day "escape" in 2019 and 2nd bottom in 2020, albeit that Toronto pressed the eject button early doors and then 4 poor results to open up this season.
Granted, we have played 3 decent sides in those 4 games but, how we lost to a Leeds reserve side and then crumbled like a pack of cheap biscuits in the other 3 should have alarm bells ringing for all of us.
We appeared to turn a corner towards the end of last season but, our attacking play has been the worst that its been for over 5 years.
We either need Johnstone to work a miracle or "give it to Dave" and frankly, it's a long, long way from good enough.
Our fete wont be determined by losing to Saints, Wigan and Catalan, the results, if not the manner of them, were no surprise but, there are very, very few signs that we could turn it around.
We look like a side that didn't have a pre season, playing against well drilled opposition.
Usually, Trinity would have 4/5 trial games before each new season, this time, for obvious reasons, we had only 1 and we look underdone, especially with ball in hand.
Hopefully things will improve. Our defence has been excellent in patches but, we cant keep on chucking the towel in when there is a score against us.

Last years CC winners had 7 1st team players missing, Wigan also had loads missing as well and we couldn't beat them !!

The difference being when Wigan lose a centre they replace him with an international second row.
When we lose our best winger we replace him with our 4th maybe 5th choice winger.
Just not comparable no matter how badly you want to prove your point.

Surely replacing a winger with another winger is what we should be doing,if you are saying we are replacing with our 5th choice winger and that's not as good why have we got 5 wingers !!

Why is that good ? If they were that strong they would have a centre to replace the centre.
These were very weak teams compared to what they would normally have out and were there for the taking

5 wingers like all the players ,Mr Chester has Brough in down to panic buying yet in key position (apart from full back were we had 4.)We got one 6 one 7 ,keep my though to my self on 9 .Think 3 trys in last 3 matches says it all

POP TART Its more of why did did Chester bring them in.When Finn and Grix left ,(though I say they both should have gone a year sooner.) The team we had was ok .Just needed a tweek at 7 ,and 9 maybe a GOOD Prop Mr Chester decided to go and bring players in who were 3rd choice in a team .Players from a team that got relegated So from is panic buy speed .would not have brought any of those.Hull wanted rid of Westerman ok he is going ok for us but think that just shows how bad some of the pack are .Think if we had brought a bit of Quality then we would not be in this state now.Take Huddersfield brough in a bit of Quality in the halfs last year,and looked a different team . Troubled is ,if Mr Chester had cleared out the back roomstaff earlier(, though the conditioner as been here before the last million pounds game ,and the coach who saved us from the drop brought in is own conditioner because he said there no way fit) do not think we would be in this possion now . Watched Wakefield 65 + years use to go watched Wakefield from the Osset \ Horbury support bus some time just 20 on the bus,seen use get 70+ thrashing a lot .But I watched them because they were the best we had ,and gave 100%.But think at present ithere are players not doing it

Unfortunately can't keep saying 'give CC a chance', as has bee already pointed out, a last game win against London, Toronto going bust and now the same stuff being served up for the 3rd season in a row. Look at how Saints changed when Cunningham was dismissed and Holbrook came in.
Remember when there was a rumour that the Wakefield players didn't like the early starts and training routines of Brian Smith? Well maybe Smith wasn't all to blame and the players didn't like a disciplinarian who wasn't 'pally' with his players?
I feel CC has MC's backing because he's balancing the books.

used to always think we had a chance even against the best opposition - always travelled in hope but as far as I can see our only hope will come against Salford and Leigh - can’t actually see us beating hull kr and yet again we are in the early stages of another injury crisis ! No miller wood Johnstone for at least 4 games. - not that selecting from a full squad makes much difference
