Not sure about Rourke being fullback , a few mishaps catching the ball
Rourke getting stick ,could not make it up,like the Guy my self ,and still make us strong at fullback At least Rourke turns up when needed ,more than can be said for Trueman he is stopping us from been a top 4 team big time .Do not care if Wires were below strength or not ,we put 40 points on them, and we showed glimpses of how good we could be if we had a proper 6 playing most weeks And just for the record beginning to think we are very lucky to have a fit Lino ,who to me looks like apart from one or two 7,one of the best in S L at present Got my helmet on

| I have to say Jack Croft is turning out to be a very handy player to have, seems to have improved a lot since moving to second row.

| Superb effort today from 1-17. Suspect we were all a bit apprehensive when we saw that Trueman was missing again, but we bossed that game for 70 minutes and Wire never looked like scoring in that second half. Rumour is that Trueman could be back next week but personally I would keep the same spine as we had today and rest him for the tougher test the week after at Headingley

| Was the attendance really 6629 (as quoted on the RLP website) ?
It just seems a bit strange as the website showed the East Stand and North Terrace sold out.

| Best 80 minutes of the season.... Outstanding from 1-17. Mase - well, what can you say, did everything, controlled the game, and with Max at the side of him, they looked good. Big shout outs to Crofty, Griff, Corey, Big Mike. Have to say Cozza has stepped up big time - great pass too for Griffs try, and he looked the part today, Vagana ran it in well, and what can you say about Caius??? MOTM was a tough choice.... All you got from the comms apparently was how many that the Wire had out - boils my p*ss that does, when they don't take into account who we had missing. Up the Trin.

| Very happy with that performance today. Despite some apprehension with some spine moves it turned out looking very fluid and dangerous today. Clearly there’s been work done on this front. Happy to see it continue if we link up like that.
1-17 though were fantastic today.
I think I’ve seen enough now that Croft has become a very competent second row snd looks to be steadily improving. I think it’s time to start thinking about a new contract for him.
Cozza lays the game very similar to Pitts. Great pair of hands and very busy in defence and attack. Pitts looks like he could go round another season but him and Cozza at 13 looks very good. Cozza could be the new Pitts when he’s ready to hang his boots up.
Just very impressed with the whole team to be honest.

| The point Legend makes about Lino is a good one often forgotten.
Lino played a long time with injuries or niggles in previous seasons. A lot of the criticism stems from that.
Hood is similar. He got a lot of stick for being slow but now he's had a good off season and back to fitness he's one of our best.
It's never because they can't be bothered or not up for it.
As for Truman, TJ is a perfect example of why you stick with someone through their injuries. He might not make it and if that's the case so be it but if he does he's one of he best 6s in the league. It's simply highlighted because his 2 understudy are also injured.

| One think I like about yesterday's win is that half the team are under 25. There is a lot of development in this team.

| I for one have been a critic of Lino in the past on a consistency base. Yesterday he showed what he is capable of for sure. I really hope he can continue with this form and confidence for the rest of the year. His defence has never been in question, he organised his edge yesterday magnificently. Good on him.
How good was Jowitts pass to Johnstone for that try, short floating pass over the top, real class touch. Thought his defence was magnificent at 6 too, really fronted up.

| Lino tends to play very well against Wire, and, the inexplicable six again offence aside, yesterday was another. He frustrates the hell out of me in a good number of games generally, but his commitment can never be doubted. He must have been working on his kicks as they generally found the grass, but then our pack was on top which always makes the HB role easier.
