| Much better in the 2nd half if only we'd started with the same energy, we looked so lethargic in the 1st

| As soon as saints dropped the intensity... By any percentage... we took advantage
Unfortunately we just couldn't handle them in the first half... Also I think when they get used to playing together... Johnstone, Pratt and Nikotemo will cause some real damage.

| Very disappointing. I'm not surprised that we looked lost with the ball at times (injuries), but I'm surprised how poor we were in contact.

| Full of talent aren’t we - all three of our tries were champagne rugby. But we got battered in the grind. They controlled it completely in that first half and the damage was done by then. Obviously not helped by the dropped balls, but that’s a result of their line speed and aggression.
I’ll forget this game quickly. Onto Thursday.

| If we win on Thursday night, today's performance will be forgotten. We just looked a bit lackluster and you can't do that playing Saints.

| 50% completion rate in that first half really cost us and we were trying too hard IMO and forcing the pass. Lino seemed to calm down after 60 minutes, the passes started to stick and we looked far more like the team we have been watching in the previous games. Realistically we were always going to struggle to win this game but from being 20-0 down at half time to finishing 26-14 then I'll take that. Something positive to take into the Cas game next week

| Because of injuries to many forwards on the park, we got to find a better opinion in the half than Pitts ,though he did throw out a good cut out pass for one of the try,s.All the kicking had go through Lino and St new this . Over all a very poor first half ,but a very good second half . same as last week .Hope we can get some players back for next week and play for more than 40 minutes , or we could struggle

| Not a totally unexpected result, but we just weren't at it first half, unforced errors, and low completion rate. Better 2nd, Pratts try highlight for me.
Let's not forget we are work in progress
It puzzles me how St Helens get away with slowing the ruck down, (not just today but most games) Refs just don't seem to see it.

Worst performance of the season but rather tonight than next week. Grants one eyed interpretation of the rules is borderline bent.
Grant was an absolute embarrassment tonight the way he let saints lay on like he did, no wonder we couldn't get out of our half.

| We started slow against Leigh last week and even slower tonight,so we're putting ourselves under massive pressure.
Our injuries are partly to blame but we need to up our intensity and move up quicker to the tackle.
The second half was more reassuring and gave us a glimpse of what we could be capable of when we put out our best team.
On a side note,as others have said, the ref was garbage

| We looked dead and buried at half time, with not a chance of scoring a point. Infact we looked like a Trinity side of years gone by. Awful completion and discipline and really poor game management and kicking game. We failed to build any pressure at all and gave away really soft tries, especially the drop out one. We made Sironen look like a prime Ali lauitiiti.
Second half as soon as Cozza came on we changed. Our intensity and attitude looked miles better and scored by far the best tries. At 75 minutes our intensity and line speed looked better than at 10 minutes with St’s looking knackered. Cozza needs to start for me next week, his attacking link up play and defence is really really impressive.
There were 2/3 incidents last night where surely a yellow card should have been shown. The Batchelor one was borderline but the Knowles one surely was. Also when Cozza put Atoni through it also looked like a shoulder to the head.
