| Quote rlfan="rlfan"The problem is the segregation issue. We have tried the east side and that is terrible and I like many derive no please in watching rugby league from one end. I want to stand on the Western terrace to enjoy my rugby among my friends from the best view in the ground, the western terrace.'"
What you're really saying is "I want to stand in clowns' corner, where the rest of my mates stand". I'm right, aren't I? 'Cos otherwise, west or east, your view is across the ground, and makes little difference, unless you have some "left-right" thing going on as well.

| Always stood on the North terrace rain or shine so segregation hasn't directly affected me. Since segregation was introduced the atmosphere in the North stand certainly has improved, to the height of the players making a point of it in the press. However, I don't necessarily agree with it. We have had trouble on a more extreme scale (Widnes game) with segregation in place and it seems to have escalated the 'us versus them' culture within some 'fans'. The Cas game felt like it could kick off at any time, you could feel the tension building every time the lead changed hands but it didn't because of the huge gulf created between the two sets of fans. On this occasion segregation worked but it also poses another question; can we really afford to have an empty corner of the ground?

| Ive been attending 40 years at Belle vue and seen more trouble in the last 15 months since the roof went up, the stupid Wakey Cas 'This City is ours' build up that our club mismanagement pushed, then in all the years bfore ...in fact Ive never seen trouble till now. It's like saying 'don't think of pink elephants'. Once you say we need segregation, then there is a perception of a problem. Also, some Wakefield fans wanted this 'it's our stand' nonsense from what I read on here. ..to create a home atmosphere. Cheap booze and bottles flying aound another problem. Beer in seated areas is one thing, on 70's terraces its another. I don't think we can carry on with that. We should concentrate beer sales around Cats bar. Get more staff on in there. Maybe a marquee in the car park or something. Have a drink there but not on the terraces.

It's a mistake and creates the kind of 1970's football style animosity that we have seen cause flare ups of violence, combined with cheap booze

You my friend are an absolute =#FF0000EDIT Get a grip of yourself will you? I don't know who you think you are calling someone a clown because he wants to stand in a different part of the ground to you? I've been a season ticket holder for 11 years and NEVER stood at the north end because the view is not to my liking. Get off your high horse and apologise for your comments which have offended me. I'm now expecting a ban or a tirad of abuse from you and your friends who share the same blinkered views

No ban or abuse but please don't abuse the swear filter.

I was thinking the same. Last time I bought a bottled beer in the ground I ask for a kick in the nuts while they were at it.

He must be a Southerner or something ?
£3 for a pint or even more for a bottle is a long way from cheap, unless folk are getting lashed before coming to the match.

| A few people are suggesting that the away fans move to the Paddock. As a season ticket holder in the seats I think this is a shocking idea. My seat is fixed. I've paid a higher price than people standing. I don't want to feel as though I'm at an away match every week by only hearing away fans. I want a home atmosphere and be able to hear our home fans whilst we are at home.
Please Daddy Cool Don't penalise us season ticket holders who are loyal to the club.
I know a lot of people don't like segregation but it looks like it is here to stay.

And the East stand paddock is where the junior teams, junior cheerleaders and their families congregate.

You've been a season ticket holder for 11 years and you haven't heard that section of the ground called clowns corner before? Also I'm not sure from reading that how you came to the conclusion he was calling the poster a clown either. Then to get offended because he referred to that side of the ground as clowns corner, lol.
