The 3 games in 8 days is no excuse. It's the same for everyone and we have a squad that should be able to cater for it. The bottomline is we were bloody awful from start to finish. They wanted it more than us from minute 1 and they deserved the win as they were the better team.

Only a handful of players stood up today, the rest were a complete shambles.

JK - Decide who the on field director and general is FFS!!! There was a complete lack of organisation in the halves today. Also once again our defence, ball retention, discipline and kicking game was an absolute joke.

Not left a game that angry and upset by our showing for some time. Hoping to see a significant improvement and change in attitude for our next game.

I agree Al but it's just not enough when those 6 are being let down by the rest.............and today they were.........very badly

Just one other thing I really noticed today was how poor our kicking game was and how exceptional that of Witt's was.

Comes down to one simple thing to me and that's pressure.

Whenever Obst, Cooke, Jeffries or whoever was kicking came to kick they found themselves under pressure and came up with very poor efforts...9 times out of 10 straight down the fullbacks throat.

On the other hand when Witt had ball in hand, due to the 'can't be d' attitude in closing him down he was afforded all the time and space he wanted to do as he pleased and his kicking in general play was absolute class and laid the foundation for their win.

How difficult is it for any player at any level to try and pressure a kicker?

form is temporary , class is permanent but effort is just down to attitude

Thought Matty Blaymire also had a decent game.

However Latu is a interchange hooker and nothing more. Why the F he is on the field at the same time as Sam is a mystery to me. He did the first 15 minutes made 2 tackles touched the ball once and then came off. Crazy team selection .

The coaching staff need to also take a bit of Flak IMHO we have looked rubbish since Cooke arrived and from the display today its hard to accept the team have had a coaching session since he came.

Trout needs to be given a chance now.

You're so right Al. Haven't been able to get to a game for a while and I was shocked by the difference on field. Next weekend will be real embarrassment unless changes in personel or attitude (or both) are made

I'd be inclined to agree if the senior players were doing the business. Even Morrison was poor today and was at fault for their 3rd try.

Morrisons worst game for us by a country mile today.

All this drinking is obviously not doing them any good, saw them in wakey monday night, maybe Kear should take a leaf out of Matterson's book and get em punished!

They had a drink Monday night and they played on Sunday, yeah you are right its affected them for sure.

Affecting their training, which is obviously affecting their playing on the day!

I paid my £20 today Mr Kear but I'm not going to slag the team and or effort off this time or in fact talk about them, I want to mention for all the flaws in the Crusaders play today their enthusiasm more than made up for it.

TBF if you go out fairly reguarly you'll see there's normally Bradford, Cas, Fev, Huddersfield players out on the lash too, all the players do it and I dont really see a problem with a drink or two after the game on Sunday.

Thats right, i don't think any clubs employs a total drinks ban.

It will be the same old team the next League match though minus Tronc, although to be fair he hasn't been here for the last 2 weeks. Blaymire went off with what looked like a knee injury so perhap he will have an enforced spell out. I guess Murphy will revert to fullback nice again.
