Club and International are completely different. He may prove to be the one who breaks the mould and I have to agree there are not many options available tbh, in which case he's as good as any. All I'm suggesting is that I wouldn't be too optimistic as I personally think he will make all the same mistakes.
Of course, it's not just the coach it's institutional, the GB/England set up needs to be radically overhauled IMO. All we do is play catch up with the Aussies, we ape everything they do then we do it badly. We need to make a huge and revolutionary leap forward if we are ever to beat the Aussies in particular. I see nobody in the RL realm including Wane with that level of vision and application.
