Huby is one of the Wakey players who would get in every other SL team starting 17. He is quality, fantastic signing by MC and his team

I'll always have an affinity to huby. He was brilliant for us for 11 seasons, and a very consistent performer.

Right now, I'd probably have him back in the squad, but not as a direct replacement for Millington (if we're strictly talking about "ball playing front rowers"icon_wink.gif

When he went to Huddersfield I was confident that we'd let him go at the right time, and had his best years out of him.

I wouldn't go as far as to say he's playing "better than ever" right now... But I'm pleased that he's somewhere near to his consistent best.

He will always be underrated which, in a way, has always made him very likeable for me. I tend to appreciate those kinda players more

He always seemed to enjoy playing at cas, being a smaller club, but with a strong community presence and fairly close knit following. Wakefield is very similar.

Huddersfield couldn't be further from that.

Only my assumption but he seems to want that closer knit environment that he was used to at cas, but lost at Huddersfield.

Huby as been great for us this season as have all the squad, to say owt different is laughable.

When players like Fafita and Huby are missing there is usually some kind of statement saying injured or whatever but I haven't seen or heard anything. All seems very strange to me.

Yes, just says they are omitted, which usually implies left out.

It's just my opinion but since big Dave hurt his leg he's not been great, so based on form perhaps it is just a simple drop - which is good as no player is picked on reputation. Huby is a bit harder to work out.

Sure Chester has said previously that Huby hadn't been able to train much lately to enable him to play so maybe they are just giving him an extended rest to try and manage whatever injury issues he is carrying

Chester interview said Hiby has a knee injury that they are trying to manage, but will need surgery at end of season

I haven't seen subsequent games but I thought Fifita was immense against us.

Just looking back to our pre season friendly I couldn't believe the amount of strapping Chubbs had on display. Off season is when you usually get these things fixed up.
