And the usual come rushing to demand his head but with less eloquence.

| Haha, no definitely not one of those mate....wish I was on their money though!
Just say it as I see it....
For all the Agar out stuff I've yet to see one person give a realistic shout to someone we could afford to bring in....and get me thinking....ya know what he would get us more wins than Agar would in the latter half of the season....

| I think Agar is running out of time. Theres a few reasons really. For one, I dont believe that Carter gave him a 3 year deal, more likely to be Elston. Secondly, most coaches in Super League have a 3 year life span, sometimes even the successful ones, I dont see enough consistency at the moment in the side and that has to fall with the coach. Thirdly, this type of performance has happened too many times now this season. The Hull Kr away, Leeds in the Challenge Cup and Castleford today have been non events and its not acceptable to be out of a game after 30 minutes especially for supporters who pay there hard earned cash to watch it. I dont give a dam if we win/lose or draw as long as we put the effort in and today was another one of those shocking performances.

| No doubt we will need to work on things in training and we were improving and we need to give the new players time. For heavens sake Agar stop wanting to be everyones best mate and tell it like it is and get this lot motivated if that means they aint your best mate no more then tough you are the Coach and that for me is the context of the matter.

| The context for me is that despite having more time to gel plus coming off the back of two good wins, we got a bigger hammering than we did on Good Friday.
I was expecting this game to be a close one. It was over as a contest after half an hour. The final whistle couldn't come soon enough.

| After a fantastic set of games on Saturday, that had me watching every minute of every game, Wakefield spoilt the Magic Weekend by being the 1st team to not compete.

I'd say it's a banker for Bradford. The script has already been written and read.

| Quote: Dreadnaught "Ok 50- 12 not good to say the least, but lets try and put this into some sort of context. We have been well and truly beaten by a team that is 3rd in Super League, and, as much as it pains me to say it, are playing some attractive expansive rugby. They are also the highest scoring team in the league. As I type, the team in 6th place (Hudds) have currently put 50 points past Bradford. If we had been hammered by Saints or Wigan, would the (over) reaction of some been as vitriolic. The fact that it's Cas seems to make it worse without actually giving some regard to where they are in the league. I know some of Agars selections and tactics seem mystifying, but, he is the coach, a paid professional, most of us are not. We can all say how much better or different we would/could do things, but if we were that good we would be Super League Coaches, not whatever profession we do now.
It's going to be a long hard season we have had glimpses of what may be in previous games, but we are locked in a battle with Bradford and Salford, and these are the games we must win. Like it or not, Cas are a very good team at the moment.'"
There is no context to playing Mathers on the wing - end of - let alone all the other nonsense.

| We have been in the position of sacking coaches before and some one has turned up and done a good job and no ones name has come to light before hand.

| Morrison would be my choice, he has an abundance of playing experience to draw on and is a leader. I feel he would garner respect from this current bunch of players and I also feel he, after coaching the u21’s a year or two back, would give the younger players who have been ostracised by Agar in favour of underperforming senior pros a shot. Although in current employment I feel he would be willing to step up to SL with relatively nothing to lose. If he keeps the club up he will be perceived to have done a good job, if Trinity are related then most people were expecting them to be.
Although it’s hard to predict (as the two wins against FC and Widnes show) I don’t expect many more victories under Agar’s stewardship. London ought to be one (however they are fast improving after ridding themselves of their underperforming coach), maybe Salford and Widnes at home. I guess that should keep the club up if Bradford do not get their deducted points back, if they do however (and in reality the club should be looking at league tables with Bradford on 6 points rather than 0) then I fear it may not be.
If somehow Trinity prevail, next season will be much of the same. They will not move forward with Agar in charge.

Not as pessimistic as you as regards staying up. I can see another 4 wins this year and not the obvious ones either. However I totally agree as regards the rest. It will simply paper over the cracks allowing Agar to get an undeserved season next year - which he will inevitably screw up.

| Well Im sorry to say this but on Wakeys and Bradfords performances yesterday we look more relegation fodder than they do.Yes both teams got it and though Bradford looked totally off their feet at the end they never gave up putting the effort in.

I think emotion often gets the better of fans regarding their own teams performance. If you can bare to watch us and them again they are pretty much identical games - though Bradford have more urgency they achieve little - we have more flair and thus had more chances but without the grunt to make it count. It was a lack of effort but it was a lack of effort to do the right things that was our downfall - ditto the Bulls.
We are both poor teams but unlike London both especially ourselves and the Bulls to a degree have enough players to be a lot better and certainly match it with teams like Cas.
Difference is the Bulls and their coach know a four pointer when they see one were as our lot believe their own hype and simply won't get it until it's to late. For those who've been around a while we had this issue with Hudds (before they were good.
