| One thing I do know bren you say I drone on about my superier knowledge well I know for certain when it comes to youth rugby from 16 onwards your not in the same class 'you've given your opinion on wildie and walshaw I've seen em both as academy players and I've seen our current crop, the 16s have looked impressive but if you do know about young lads youl know the next 2 to 3 years will tell us shoes gonna make it with the right coaching of courses lot of attention as been forecast on young jowitt looks a decent prospect , but I saw the Bradford u19s winger run over him twice and yet some on here want him to play super league'no chance not in the same class as wildie and walshaw or even southernwood at that age I've said it before when I was coaching pro clubs couldn't approach players until after 16i assure you I had the best players in Yorkshire mainly until 17 the likes of Jason Robinson and Paul newlove and if we produce lads like them we'll do well

Another laughable post by the genetic clone of Frank Stanton and Wayne Bennett, bigging yourself up again at the expense of a young kid, shameful.

| Not trying to big myself at a kids expense at all ,think jowitt could be an excellent prospect don't think he's ready for super league yet just trying to answer bren comments of wildie being a rotation hooker and walshaw a big steady lad, the fact that at the same age wildie was an international halfback tells me that with the right work on him he could have been developed into a super league halfback, and as a coach you rub your hands when you get a young lad the size of walshaw then find he can also play the game can't wait to turn him into a long striding centre or secondrow

That's the point I'm making - he [icould[/i, but he hasn't, and the reasons for that are worthy of discussion; I think he's been let down by successive coaching regimes but I have no idea at all if it's now too late for him. Can you teach an old dog new tricks?

matty was a cracking young player. in the time i coached him at wakefield we had him playing in the halves he was playing ok but he was beating himself up with his kicking game, he was taking too long to think about things and driving himself mad. we moved him to hooker so he could build his concentraion levels and have say less time to think. hes a good player and could easily go back into the halves needs managing properly.

Problem is his accent - if he spoke fluent Aussie he'd get half a season to prove himself.
I'm sure potentially Harry is a better player technically - but it's Wildies future at stake and I'd be tempted to back him.
The only down side is that as yet Wildie has not played that binding game that says he's arrived and the clock is ticking a bit. He just seems to lack the self belief of a Brough or even a Kyle Wood which is a worry.

Would serve us right - I can't even be bothered to blame them any more we make it so easy.
