| Is it a shock that we are struggling in the forwards we have ONE out and out prop Amor the rest Wilkes included are back row forwards and that is a fact
We have two halfbacks in Smith and John why are they here why I just dont get why this club brings these average overseas players in season in season out Smith cant kick wont take the line on and his passing is wayward at best
John the less said the better
Add to this Southern/Mellers/Collis Agars mate Washbrook complete waste of money and shirts
I know Rome was not built in a day but these fellas are no better than the kids who busted a gut for us last season the players we lost Griffin/Howarth even Tongia are better than the replacements

| Well three pages of posting so far and none of you have picked up on a major problem. Our captain is a joke. He played 20 minutes and did nothing came back for the last 20 minutes did nothhing again but dropped the ball twice. Who the hell thought he was worth bringing over on a three year contract.
Talking to a bloke last night and he reminded me of the line of captains at our club.
Gareth Ellis to JD to Morrison and then this xxxx

Hear Hear...
Needs to go home... was blowing out of his and had his hands on his hips after they scored a try.. not the sign of a captain imo.

| All half decent sides have a core of home grown local talent which gives the team pride , just look at Leeds, Wigan and Saints. Why bring somebody over from the other side of the world to try and develop when we have young players of our own who are closer to making the grade? We are just contributing to the poor standard of the National Team.

| Quote: El Rey "IMO the team would be fine, yes we need a bit of beef but its not a player problem, its a coaching problem or lack of it.
Elston got told time and time again that we don't want Agar and we still got him, go figure that one out.
And before anybody says could i do better, well i could not do any worse.'"
It is a player problem as the pack cannnot stop the opposition from rolling us down the field and have no go-forward with weak tackling and no consistent bug hits. R.A. can't make the players perform.
Southern is the most disappointing signing for WTW in years and for him to be captain is a joke when you compare him to Morrison and JD. He simply is not up to Super League and is a fringe squad player at best getting paid big bucks. Think he needs to return to Aus & second grade rugby. His big drop in form has coincided with WTW pack becoming extremely weak and championship material.
I though agree the coach has made a mistake by being loyal to a pack that has produced some good promising displays against Widnes, Warrington and Catalan but then imploded against Bradford, London and Cas. Saying all that Amor,Aiton and Raleigh should be retained but bin the rest and bring in the youngsters!
This is where R.A. earns his money or is eventually shown the door.

| It will not help having a skipper who is not fit enough to play 80 minutes. Give someone else the responsibility who has organising skills and is at least fit for the whole game

| no clue in defence or attack and most of all: no pride, no passion. Only ones that seem to be bothered lately are Cockayne, Mathers, Fox, Aiton and possibly Wood (for the 10 min game time he gets every week anyway). Either Agar isn't firing them up or there's something seriously wrong in the dressing room as half of em dont look interested. First time i've come away from a game and seriously considered not coming back, utter cack!

| For me only Fox and Cockayne put in any "Local Derby" effort last night. It meant sod all to the rest of our journeymen. Watched the Wigan v Saints game when I got in and saw Gareth Hock put in the kind have performance that I will probably not live to see in a Trinity player ever again.

Yes it says it all when your two wingers are the only ones after Ali went off who look capable of breaking a tackle, and make. More metres down the middle of the park then the forwards. Mind you it is no coincidence, given both cockayne and fox run straight and hard, whereas thè forwards amble up like their out for a morning jog.
Our problem is other than the small minority the players have no aggression in either attack or defence, I am sick of seeing us concede easy metres because the markers are lazy and the first tackler goes to clamp the ball allowing the opposition to run 10 or more metres cos there's no one around the legs. Trying to tackle around the chest is hard enough when you actually try it with impact, but when you have only moved up 2m and are stood stationary waiting to make the tackle, as we are, it's ten times harder.

| It is a joke, there is no fire or aggression. It's the same boring game plans week in week out. On the back of Catalans we had a chance to claim two more scalps and really push on. However it's the same old crap!! It's a shame because the fans are supporting the best they can but I really feel this will change as its just not good enough. The Catalan game was a great first half but the second we nearly let it slip, London was that bad I was embarrassed and last night was terrible. As for the trouble it's just a sorry state that the family game is going down that road because of a few idiots. They should be banned and charged.
I hate to say it but........AGAR OUT!!!

| we have a very small pack, so we were never going to get any joy in the middle of the field. the gaps were always going to be out wide for us. unfortunately smith seems to be a bit of a one trick pony turning the ball back inside, which would be fine if your forwards are on top but not in our current situation.
also our defensive line speed was non existent, we just did not move up at all. the cas halfbacks had an absolute age to decide what they wanted to do. on one occasion in second half richard owen jogged along the line with no one making any attempt to close him down.
get agar out now (and he can take smith and mellars with him)

I don't care if we win, lose or draw as long as the team gives 100% every week and each player wears the shirt with pride.: |
|
| Our performance in the last two games has been nothing sort of amateur standard tripe.
- No passion
- No desire
- No aggression
- No organisation
- Complete lack of any defensive structure
- Zero attacking options
- No kicking game
I could go on....
It's hugely disappointing and extremely embarrassing

| I can only look in envy at the amount of young (under 25) English kids Cas puts out every week, no they arnt going to win anything, but That Clarky at hooker is simply sensational, and IMHO there is only Roby infront of him at 9 in SL. Johnny Walker another 21 year old prop, outstanding, and as for Owen being finished, not on last nights performance, all our over seas players dont give a to55 about derby games, its just another game, but we all know its far from that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| I think there was only a select few players for us that came out of that game last night with their head held high....
1 - Fox for me MOM by a country mile. Our forwards could learn a lot from him re effort and commitment re taking the team/ball forward. He got through a ton of work again. Respect to the Fox!
2 - Cockayne, Aiton, Sykes & Washbrook - All tried hard and work their socks off.
The rest for me were poor to say the least

| Time for change, get Walshaw in for Mellars and getting Ellis involved would be a good start. Wood also needs more game time
