Either way, you'd imagine Kear won't be Head Coach. That's not to say he won't still be involved with the club, but i think we need a change and a coach on the cutting edge of the game.

TBF Dury is a proper Coach as far as I'm aware. He hasn't coached above Academy level but neither had Kear up until taking Paris then Sheffield. He would effectively be taking his existing players onto Championship level which is not a massive step up. If we retained SL and Kear left then yes I think it would be a step to far at this point for him where as IMO Championship is about right. Biggest issue is would he actually want the job.

Tony Drury would be my choice even if we stay in SL, I think he has a lot to offer,we need a coach with fresh ideas who can command the respect of the players.
If JK were to leave I would give Tony a go.

Lets be honest here, which SL club would honestly want John " 5 drives and kick" Kear. IMHO he would take clubs back rather than forward.

He will fly back to the Eagles down the M1 to ressurect their Super League franchise bid again. Keith will cancel his contract with Crusaders to come back for a cuddle. And everything will end happily ever after.
