Just get Danny signed, Michael. He's got another very good year in him. His qualities as a rugby player haven't been disputed by anyone on here just his "attitude". Even if someone argues "he's not as good as he used to be", he's still better than most halfbacks in the league

I'd like to take a bet on how many people on this forum actually have any idea about Danny's "attitude". He's got 8 years on Hardaker and less discrepancies. Brough is no angel but he is also someone who wants to win and I don't mind someone spitting the dummy because they're losing. I don't want players who are happy to lose. And I'm sure the owner of the club doesn't either. With plenty of back up in the halves even if Brough played 50% of games it would be a decent return with the likes of Wood/Hampshire/Miller/Reynolds who can play halves. If the deal is doable financially, it's a no-brainer. Brough is still one of the best kickers in Super League and would be if he was 40.

Well I know a player at the Giants and most of the squad are delighted Brough is leaving. They all think he's an absolute w****r. Sounds like a good deal financially for us though and probably a risk worth taking seeing as though it's now about finishing 11th not 8th in order to be safe, and if we somehow end up below London then a hell of a lot more than Danny Brough has gone wrong.
