I would give Batchelor a run in his proper position as he's had to cover left centre the past 2 games. I would assume that Johnstone and Wood will be out injured with potentially Jowitt and Crowther who also both got knocks. I expect Tanginoa to be suspended and I would not play anyone who isn't 100% (Kyle Wood, Battye, Hampshire, Lino). We signed Tangata (presumably for a reason) , I would give him an opportunity as I think he will offer as much as Green or Arona at this present time.

We desperately need a 9 on the field to organise and get some QUICK accurate ball to either our halves or the next forward up.or to make the QUICK brake to keep the opposition on the back foot.
While our forwards aren’t the biggest,they would still make better meters if these areas were speeded up.
Until this happens expect more of the same..

As for Chris Chester.
He needed Kyle Wood on the field at the start of the season to give him a platform with which....if not get results.... get some foundations in place for the half backs to to gel and get some combinations going.
He now finds himself in a position of 0:3 this season. The next three are all tough games. If wood recovers from his injury and him and Battye playin these games then hopfully things might start to improve.
However Another 0:3 set of results will start to have consequences not only for the confidence of the team but also the support of the team and it is at this point that The board need to make some hard decisions moving forward.
Mr Carter has given Chris Chester plenty of help and TIME these past three seasons to try and improve things on the field, certainly more than most coaches would have got, and events haven’t always been kind to Chris Chester but for all his efforts I’m afraid it does look as though we’re in the last chance saloon for me.

I thought we looked more capable and had it none been for two things, Bill passing too early to Tom (or passing at all) and Lino's kick out on the full, we might have stayed in the game.

We look a lot better with Jowitt at the back. I thought Lino looked good, apart from the kick-out on the full. Perhaps if you're a second-string player in the NRL, being off the cuff is too risky, as you'll never get a run-out if you cock it up. Maybe CC has told him he has permission to play instinctively, be more creative, and he looked better for it.

It's hard to know whether we are able to attack the line as we never seemed to get near it. Fifita isn't looking game-breaking anymore.

I think it would be hard to pin the blame of the latest offering on MC, but I do think there is some collective here, and he’s part of that.

For the handling errors, missed tackles and silly penalties, the buck stops with the players.

Those players are picked week after week, by our coach, and it’s his job to motivate the players. The coach will also get reports from his backroom staff, regarding training sessions and reports of if there’s been any players not performing to their potential.

Some have been saying on here that our performances now look somewhat stale. I would agree with that. This point I would say if any could come back to MC. For the past 5 seasons or so, we have had quite a settled squad which is good, but I think we have been guilty of giving out some very long contract extensions, and since this, form has dipped somewhat. I would imagine that MC is at the forefront of contract negotiations, in contract lengths as well as the finance side of it.

Firstly we’d have to pay AT the difference between his full time time wage here and his part time wage at Fax. Then pay at full time wage to Moore that is likely greater than his Fax income (where he has recently signed a new deal as captain) and his day job with his roofing firm. On top of what we are paying Fifita. Getting a bit costly.

No mate that was gareth moore.brandon is a really good player spent a few months at hudds last season was averaging around 60 tackles a game but also posess a good passing game .as he is at a championship club he would no doubt be a good price.
