| If all thats holding things up is the RFL meeting to deal with the fit and proper person issue, then the response they gave to superleaguefans.com is nothing short of a disgrace. They havent agreed a date yet!!
FFS they are supposed to be this paternalistic organisation when it comes to their members yet they are fannying around risking our continued existence.
They must at some stage have deemed Ted "a fit and proper person" so how difficult can it be!!!

| The media person said he hadnt got a date yet (to be released publicly), that doesnt necessarily mean that one hasnt been agreed. Especially as the administrator says that it could be sorted today.

| Quote: kinleycat "i thought they were having it taken out of their sky money over 4 years £175k per season?'"
At the time there were links being put up on various MBs stating this is how the WC's will repay the rfl.
They also promised to honour any rugby league related debts.

On the one hand, you've got a professional news organisations (the BBC) quoting the adminstrator. On the other you've got an amateur site saying 'we asked our contact at the RFL' and quoting a previously publilshed statment …

The administrators are hopeful it's sorted today. Just as they're hope it was sorted yesterday.
I believe at the time we posted the article early this morning, the RFL had yet to confirm a date and time for the meeting. This is what we were told. Thats not to say The meeting could have been arranged during the day though.

Quote: "Spirit of 1873, a consortium led by local businessman Glover, announced on Friday they had reached agreement to rescue debt-ridden Trinity. But last night joint-administrator Peter O’Hara maintained nothing had so far been completed.
“We are still waiting for Andrew Glover,” he said. “He’s telling everyone he has bought the club but he has yet to come up with a firm offer. He has changed funds with his solicitors and is showing good intentions but the solicitors haven’t met and are still sorting out some of the ground issues.
“While ever we’re in control of the club, if offers come in for players, we have to sell.

I Know, there's another one floating around, I think from the BBC where the administrator was saying he think it would be completed today, but who knows.

| TBH i really dont know what or who to believe.
APG100 is conspicuous by his absence.
Ohara's website states the deal has been concluded - and just waiting for RFL approval. But Oharas today issue a statement saying the opposite.
Weve had APG acting like the Messiah on Friday telling everyone he had bought us,only to look daft on Monday when players are been sold.
People are critisizing the RFL for not rubberstamping the deal -- if there isnt a deal agreed how can they?
Weve even had numerous conflicting stories as to whether APG has passed the RFLs fit and proper test.
By virtue of what im seeing from Oharas and APG at the moment and so many conflicting statements,i personally dont think a deal is going to happen.
Sorry, but i think its goodnight Vienna.

Something along the lines of "Please accept this email as full and official confirmation of the RFLs approval for Mr Andrew Glover of Spirit of 1873 Group, to become owner and Chairman of Wakefield Trinity with immediate affect.
Yours Sincerely

| Quote: trinfan71 "There lies the worry. London Broncos went out of business what happens to them, they form a new company with a different name and get guaranteed Super League.
What annoys me more with the whole franchise thing and how it shows the true colours of the RFL. Widnes lose out on a licence because they went into administration. The club that get in ahead of them, is then found guilty of (for want of a better phrase) employing illegal workers, hence the deportation and banning from the country of those employees. The same club then goes into administration a year later after moving from one end of a country to another. The rules are then changed regarding administration they have debt converted into a loan by the governing body and are pretty much guaranteed a franchise for life. We hit the same financial problems with debt go into administration where Ralph Rimmer is interviewed and states that administration will most probably count against us, but covered his ass enough by saying but licences depend on other factors too.
So in a nutshell anyone who thinks we and the other clubs of a similar stature to us within the game are going to be treated equally has more chance of winning the lottery every wednesday and saturday for the rest of their lives, than Lewis & Co giving fair treatment.
The franchise system was and IMHO still is the beginning of the end of Rugby League as we know it. Nobody is safe from the expansion vision, if / when we go this time a shiny new stadium is not going to help the next club on the RFL radar.'"
Yeah have email Nigel Wood saying same, again bombard them with stuff lets show them we want to fight

| If you are still in Administration tomorrow will the Winding up Court case be automatically posponed again or is there a possibility that the HMRC could wind WTWCs up at tomorrows hearing?
If so it may be why AG is holding off.
