I would be happy to keep him next year, he has been very good for us since we signed him halfway through 2012 giving us that 'filling piece' which got us into the play-offs. Also not too bad at kicking goals

I would not mind betting the club offered him a new deal on reduced terms' just like Mathers and turned them down, I can't see a SL club being in for him but he would be a good signing for a championship side, all the top clubs' in there seem to have plenty of cash to splash and are going full time, so for me the likelyhood is one or more of them have offered him better terms' than we did and he's maybe taking his time choosing or already has done and is keeping it quiet for now, whatever happens he has always been good for us and does not owe us anything so good luck Paul wherever you finish up.

Where ever Sykes is going to be next year he has sent his brain on ahead. That was an absolute shocker. Best left at that.

This year Sykes has had more good games than bad f*cking hell some of the reactions on here. Sammut might not have done any worse but equally he might not have done any better. Outplayed across the park today, it happens, get a f*cking grip. I'm looking forward to next year under Webster, in his first games in charge he's shown more promise than the previous clown.

Timmy and Godinet had half decent game's other than that the rest was ordinary at best, Sykes kicking apart was no worse than anybody else unfortunately for him he made that howler of a pass which set the tone for the rest of the error strewn game, you come to expect criticism on days' like this but to single out Sykes is wrong for me, one good thing though the usual suspects' can't blame Sammut for today's debacle.
