I hope it is remembered that not everyone will be able/willing to put up extra cash under the current economic climate. It doesn't make them any less of a fan, and they shouldn't feel any pressure for them to join if they cannot truly afford it.

Saying that, anyone who is able to, should do their very best to get joined up, even if it is bronze/silver membership, if not the 1873 Club.

I havent yet, but will when i start my new job, it will be before licence decision

Some i know will not do it because they dont want £26 taking out of there bank all at once

Yes I think so too, dont really know why it's not an option.

I believe its because payments will be collected via direct debits and £2 a week by DD is not an option. quaterly half yearly and tearly collections are available.
