Do you think that Trinity have been a net gain for MC or, do you think that the club has cost him money ?
Also, I've personally been to enough events and other stuff at BV to see the guy doing stuff that very few club chairmen would do.
Yes, he was shoveling snow, working behind the bar, attending fans forums and all of that while digging into his own pocket.
There weren't too many takers for buying the club for a quid when he offered it ??
Regardless of whether his motives were to try and recoup his investment, but for him, the club would have been gone so, hoe DOES deserve some gratitude.

Although many fans think that he shows too much loyalty to the coach, maybe that's not such a bad thing and maybe the fans are just a bit too quick (including myself) when losing patience with the coach.

Leeds are looking good with two of our former coaches in charge.

Having said that, you do wonder just how many games we have to lose, before MC and Minards feel that we need a change.

For me, just like John Kear, MC has enough "credit" with Trinity to be beyond reproach

I can remember buying a couple of pints, which he served and joking that I couldn't imagine Roman Abramovich serving behind the bar at his club, can you.

I’m not talking about that which was a genuine attempt to get the game on. I’m talking about his famous picture stood on his own immediately in front of the hospitality block pretending to shovel snow off the line which was nothing but pure opportunism meant for the fans.

Avenger do not know what you got against Mr Carter ,why don't you go watch Leeds ,Cas,in fact any other club because you do not support this club .Did you by a season ticket ,if so bet you asked for your money back .By the way Mr Carter did shovel the snow away with the fans ,

I don’t have anything against Carter, however I don’t subscribe to the Cult that can’t see any fault in his character nor do I kid myself that he ‘saved’ the club because he loves Wakefield Trinity!

Lesser men would have walked away some time ago, with the amount of abuse and hostility directed at them, by a minority of so called supporters. Why anyone can direct so much bile towards the people keeping this club afloat at a time of great uncertainty, is quite beyond me. Please, will all you “faint hearts”, claim your season ticket refund from the club, and walk away, the rest of us will do whatever we can to help the club survive along with those in charge.,Remember, those who are not with us, are against us.

I know there are quite a few on here who hang on to his every word and won’t hear anything they perceive as negative about him but again, can you point out the “bile” in any of my posts?

You are telling everyone you know why he did something when

1) you can't possibly know
2) he still cleaned the lines which kept the game on longer
3) the publicity we got as a club for him doing that was massive

So why is it a problem to you?

Load of bunkum ,it’s a forum and forums are for debate as long it’s in good taste . Unless you know something I don’t you are still allowed to voice you opinion whether that is positive or negative in this country and on forums .We all want the same thing from this club and that is a competitive team ,unfortunately at this present time we are far from that prospect .So to expect fans to blindly follow a club that they invest their hard earned cash in only to watch it slowly go down the rattle and keep quiet is frankly ridiculous.
