It will be a tough game as it always is at Wigan. I am not expecting anything other than a defeat but I would like to see us compete and play like we did in the 2nd half at Salford.

At the end of the day we are Wakefield so you never know what is going to happen.

Looks as though Wigan are to rest a few so can see if we put it together coming away with a win but we have to PUT IT TOGETHER to get anything from it.

Wigan will be more dangerous after losing the WCC than they would have been had they have lost. They've lost their opening 2 games now, no way will they want to make it 3 in a row. I expect them to come out and kick start their season in a big way. I don't think jet lag, injuries or possible suspensions will have much bearing on the game.

I'll go for Wigan 44 - Wakefield 10

Wigan are desparate to get off the mark after been pummelled by Hudds and then Roosters but so are Wakey.

Wigan 24 - WTW 16

I'm expecting a tough game after last season, especially at your place, when in truth we were lucky to win. Wakey also played well at the DW. Looking at your line-up Collis always troubles us.

We won't have O'Loughlin either, who is easily our best player.

Having said that we do have some very promising youngsters. It should be worth the trip in any case.

Dont think therr will be any unforced changes personally....we need to send what we believe to be our strongest 17 as because of circumstamces it has become a winable game.....the break from Salford to Bradford was too short but this break is ideal.....the fittest/freshest players will be the ones with 2 competitive games under their belts...surely...

Thinking of making this one and it'll be my first this season.

I think we are real underdogs for this one but that is when we usually cause a big surprise. I think Wigan are a fairly weaker squad than last year but still real contenders. 9 times out of 10 you'd expect them to beat us.

I'm flying home from Melbourne today so will have a good view on the jet lag situation come Sunday
