This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me. WTRLC 2012 to 2014 "The wasted years" Magic Weekend "Whipping Boys" 2013, 2014 & 2015 2017 - The year the dream disappeared under Grix's right foot. 2018 - The FinniChezz Bromance 2019 - The return of the Prodigal Son. 2020 - Keeping the faith.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_2597.jpg

Quote: Khlav Kalash "Sorry to put a dampener on things but I’ve only uploaded the aerial pic so people who don’t know the area can see what is there, to do so I used the swag webspace. I really don’t know where the site is so please don’t read anything into the url.'"

Not much greenery left in that area now is there? When I wer a lad it wer all fields. The little field in the middle was where the pit ponies from Roundwood Pit used to be released into for their holidays. icon_cry.gif

We all sincerely hope that is true - and that is why we have the people we have working the hours they have to do everything they can to make this happen.

If this fails, it will not be for the want of trying - by us at least!

Where is the false dawn exactly?

I realise the Thornes failure was a blow but you need to look at the bigger picture.

In 2004 the need for a new stadium for Trinity wasn't on any Councillors agenda, we simply didn't exist as an issue. Now it simply won't go away.

Even if it fails in the end the club will have gone down fighting and the Council will have a failure on it's hands that will not easily be forgotten. I believe as political animals they won't want this so something will happen. What I don't know.

Fingers crossed.

Would be nice, no idea if its right though.'"

If you take the current site that Belle Vue occupies and drop it into that picture it takes up about half of the field on the left (the one between the motorway and where the rest of the development work has already been done).

This would mean that there is potentially more than enough space for a bigger ground with parking. The downside as far as I can see would be access. Although it is close to the motorway for travelling fans I think it might actually be too close and that you could get horrendous traffic queues coming off the M1.
