Sadly not. I am a business man, not an ex player with not much between my ears, so I doubt I would fit in with the recruitment policy of the last decade.



I sincerely hope if you are who you say you are, that this is one of the first policy changes you make regardless of what state we are left in when this runs its course.

This is genuine and goes a long way to telling me that these guys deserve our support as very few of us could / would go to such lengths for the club. I take this as a statement of intent to work through the current problems, get back to working to a strict budget and put stability back into the club.



Whilst there is much paperwork to run through, at discussion level at least we are confident that the club can go forward successfully - provided enough people are able and willing to support it!

I see Mathers is mentioned going to widnes earlier in this thread, i find that hard to believe given we've got one of the best attacking full backs in the competition in Hanbury.

I have a long association with Wakefield Trinity, from playing as a junior to coaching at the club, whilst Trinity may not be my first club, I still love the club and I am very frustrated to see the position it is in again.

Thats fair comment and 100% true, Jonh is a supporter of this club.

No need to apologise, it's an Internet forum. I have nothing but respect for you if you are who you say you are, to take on this challenge. I just hope you learn from the catalogue of errors that are made time and time again by your predecessors.



Mr Glover came in as a saviour with nothing but good intention, but I think had more of his personal profile on his agenda. This is one of the reasons I am concerned that someone directly involved with sorting the mess is posting on here.



Either way I wish you nothing but the best as the City needs this club even though in my opinion it does not always realise it, appreciate it or support it.

Also.....to all those JE haters who are saying they are refusing to support the club while he is still there.....why not just support the two guys who are now running the club and making the decisions....



Michael has put thousands of his own money to the cause, which is as good as throwing it down a drain....he's working tirelessly, for no financial reward....just to try and get the club we all love out of a massive hole.....as he says, he's put his house on the line......if those aren't reason enough to get behind him and Chris then I don't know what is??



No matter what has gone on to get us to this point, if they feel JE has something to offer the club, then with what they are now doing I fully support their decision, as I do with everything else they are doing......Now is not a time to cut your nose off to spite your face because you think you know something.....because you believe there's big investors out there who won't come near the club while JE is there.....that has already been rubbished, so why it keeps coming up God only knows?



Support Michael & Chris and support club......now is not the time to turn your back on the club!!

I never bought this argument with Bradford last year, and I don't buy it now. The club will always exist in some form. Wakefield Trinity RLFC Ltd and Spirit of 1873 Ltd may not do, but Wakefield Trinity will.
