So what?
That means that our coach is setting his own standards for the squad and the team - as it should be - and, given the fact that there hasn't been an announcement, the club appear to backing their manager.
Also, if James is in training, then we can assume he isn't yet out of the equation and perhaps he has the opportunity to claim his place?

Give over; clearly, Richard Agar is running the club like a Victorian mill owner, riding rough-shod over the rights and dignity of the playing staff and ripping up contracts left right and centre. For good measure, he's sacking perfectly promising young English players, presumably because he doesn't like the cut of their gib, and replacing them with his Antipodean pals.
I understand that next season, any flibbety-gibbet who knocks on in his own 20 will be summarily horse-whipped in Cats Bar.

You may jest, but I would advocate something along similar lines

Well I'm behind any method that will help increase concentration levels as that is one of the most important factors behind ANY teams performance

| Yawn..... Can't we change the record.
We had youth, they had a chance an failed and that's that. We are bringing in new players to build a foundation for the future. Let's not hang a guy before he has had a chance to prove himself and his decisions. People who play for him love him and the general feedback from the remaining players is its much better.
Give them all a chance, I am all for youth but the structure around them has to be right too. Rome wasn't built in a day and all that.

I thinks its been a interesting debate, and in the main debated with reason and common sense.
Eveyones got different views on the club and Agar, thats how it should be.
Agar out

| I agree that we should`nt judge R.A. before a ball has been passed but then again he is judging the young players abilities without seeing them in 1st team action.
I know that when you get 2 coaches opinions of players they will give 2 differing views but I do believe that when J.K. said that some of the youth players have a good future ahead of them down at Belle Vue I don`t think that he was flannelling the supporters, & I know some will say "then why did`nt JK select them" but last season was a damage limitation season as we did`nt have the talent on display ,which RA will have for this coming year.

| Perhaps if the players will train for nowt - then we are saving their wages? Seems a bit odd if they are not on the payroll tho. Not sure I would keep turning up at work if I wasn't getting paid for it?

Alternatively, they could be invoicing on a self-employed basis or working on a temporary contract, until the assessment period is complete.
Despite what some people will have you believe, I'm sure there's a perfectly grown-up explanation.

Yes, I read it back after I'd posted it and realised that it didn't really work as a joke because it was actually quite a good idea.

Getting back on the sam obst thread, he was in the sainsburys on trinity walk and i heard a member of staff asking him if he was coming back to the wildcats for next season - he said nothing had been finalised yet??? does that mean he's on his way back as he didnt deny it!!

| I would guess that Sam will only be coming if Tim Smith does not get a visa, especially if we have signed Paul Aiton as suggested on the other thread. Can't see where he would fit in if not.
I wonder what Andy Ellis is thinking now that Agar is planning on Paul Aiton being his main man??
