| Just running out of bodies to put in a shirt aren’t we
Can not fault the spirit, effort and even the quality at times but no team can go week in week out losing key players and expect to win away at the league leaders.
Atoni, McMeeken, Uele, Storton, Doyle, Cozza, M Russell, O Russell then lost Trueman at half time forcing a reshuffle. The week to week demands of playing to a standard that’s greater than the sum of your parts, it just isn’t sustainable for that length of time and so many games.
Well done lads, I think the fans can see how tough this is!

| Good effort but you cannot expect to play the best team in SL away , with 1 recognised prop and win! Under the circumstances a creditable result. We were holding our own scorewise, until Trueman went off!

| I agree. Some big efforts from the team but they stepped up and we just didn't have enough to stay with them.
They are a top side but for us to be so good in first half with hardly any field position shows how good we are.
If we can stay with 6 we'll have a great end of season once we get some bodies back.
We had Croft and Griffin playing in the middle today and both stood up well but you can't expect the team to be at their best in that situation.

| Dust ourselves off and get sorted out for Catalan. I couldn't fault the effort but the last few weeks have finally caught up with us. It was probably a tad optimistic to expect us to back up after last week. I suspect we may be a little stronger next weekend.

| I don’t think we run out of bodies and we were right in that till around 50 minutes.
What let us down in that game was two things for me and it wasn’t the lack of forwards at all.
1. The discipline and errors. That second half we continually squandered possession in the kr half and turned over cheap ball. That led to inviting KR on our line way more than needed.
2. The spine shuffle half time with moving positions. That affected our attack a lot and defence on the left was left short more than a few times.
Honestly though I thought Lino was excellent last week but this week he cost us dearly with stray passing, kicking out on full etc. it led to a number of pressure sets on our line. He will I’m sure come back strong.
I thought we gifted KR that game more than them taking it. We continually invited them onto our line and it told a few times on the edges.

| I think losing Trueman at HT was the hair that broke the camels back. There will be full strengthened top teams go there who will do a lot worse than we did. I think our attitude is absolutely amazing, we are not only playing but fighting for the badge and fans.

Let's not start having a go at Lino at least he plays every week Trueman going off injured again was one of the main reasons for the shocking performance in the second half.(The first shocking half of the season's ) .We was back to one kicking half on the team ,and HKR were just to fast for us in second half . Max is a great full back but lacks the kicking game to be a good half .Injuries are catching up with us big time .Think for first season back in S L we got to be happy with a top 8 finish We look better with Trueman on the field but is injury record is holding back .

All those things are exacerbated by not having regular middles.Even in the first half we were under pressure as we couldn't get any field position. It was just that we were good enough with the ball to score when we got chances. Peters said post match that his tactic in second half was to rush our half backs to cut out our best plays. It worked and we had to push passes and hold down which cost us. Rovers were just better than us. We didn't have enough forwards to keep the pressure on.

All of which are down to fatigue! We are stretched thin right across the spectrum and have done amazingly to cope, however as soon as we’re placed under further pressure we have no more capacity to deal with it and that’s what we saw last night.

I'm told we could have up to 3 more bodies back for next week (don't know who though)
