Good as he is I think he'll go with Connor or AJB

As good as Connor's been in the halves for Leeds, he's equally been dreadful at full-back. We've witnessed it ourselves. In that first game, two mistakes led to tries, and when he was moved, he made another error that nearly caused them to lose in the second game. He's terrible under the high ball and lacks any pace whatsoever.
 
Personally don't see what AJB does better than what Jowitt does when you look at their overall games.


There seem to be those who back him, not just Wakey fans, from RL fans. Or if they do rate him, they say he lacks international experience. Or he's just a good SL player, which is a bit of a head scratcher to me because that must be the basis of selection to the team, that or the NRL.

Connor has a bigger obstacle, which is that Wane openly doesn’t like him or his attitude. Although you could argue he’s growing up a bit.

Wane also doesn’t like picking Aussies, so Brimson has that against him. 


I wouldn’t be surprised if he plays Mikey Lewis there.

Reading online, Neuro experts in Aus are recommending Radley take medical retirement like Boyd Cordner did for his concussions 

Watched Brimson against Manly last weekend at FB, he had a terrific game. Phil Gould was waxing lyrical about him. That being said, he’s  not english, he’s represented Queensland and only reason he wants to represent England is he’ll never get in the kangaroos squad. 

Max should definitely be in the squad. Whether he gets in the 17 I doubt it. 

His mum is English.That makes him more English than most overseas born players we've selected.

And I didn't say Wane SHOULD Connor or AJB, just that I think he will.


To get in Max needs to have big games in big games.
He didn't quite do it in his first audition against Welsby and Sts.
We need to get him in the playoffs so he has a chance to shine


Would be handy if he outplayed French and/or Field on Friday. That's the standard he needs to set.

Isn’t Connor playing well at halfback but when shifted to full back like against us pretty poor and exposed?


Connor is playing very well in the halves but I don’t think there’s any question on who the better full back is in SL. 


Wane has form for squeezing players in who have rarely played there all season though. Like Lewis at 9. 

Anyone who has seen Gold Coast this year would know that Brimson is dog turd and if he’s selected for England makes a total mockery.
