What exactly was the issue and what was done to rectify it?

Am told basically they took a feed from main and made it a bit longer than they should have instead of doing a straight feed pipe which resulted in loss of pressure. This was simply changed to rectify it.

I know you've stated "basically" but I find that explanation a bit hard to believe.

The excavation is pretty small and the issue is sorted so it will have been pretty minor. I was was expecting the entire car park to be dug up.

Why would you need to dig the entire car park up to replace 1 pipe? A single trench 1200mm wide by 1200mm deep was all that was needed

We must have literally miles of that blue pipework running towns water under my workplace and length of pipework has never been an issue from one end to the other, as long as the mains pressure is fine. We are restricted to a certain maximum flow by Yorkshire Water so we don't starve the local residents.

Certainly has the potential to boost earnings both during and outside of match day. So long as it’s profitable then it would be a cracking idea.

A grill would be great and even better if it could have a pizzeria section /oven with actual handmade pizzas as those are pretty rare in Wakefield but the good ones are usually busy.

I much prefer this option. Then just a regular stand on the zwedt for me.
I honestly think the view of the pitch on the West iscwasted at the moment. If it had a better stand and elevation I think fans would flock to it.

Agree, there’s not many in Wakefield but when you find a place that makes good pizza you will always be willing to pay more for it.

Places like Prego, Capri are few and far between so it would be a good investment for the club.

Also, I could imagine picking up a pizza to takeaway post game and it gives the option of a pizza takeaway service once established.

Could put a post game pizza order system in place so that you can pre-order(and pay) and then collect once the game has ended. There’s a lot of possibilities.
