What stadium are you suggesting 'we' share?
As it stands, both clubs are doing everything in their power to get their own new stadia and are working with partners to deliver what they want.
If WTW suddenly decide they want to share at GH, YorkCourt will not give ten million quid to Cas. If CT suddenly decide they want to share at NM, Opus will not give ten million quid to WTW. Moreover, neither of those fantasy scenarios will do anything to unstick either the PI for NM or the need for a buyer at WR.
Your argument is predicated on a false assumption that deciding to share at one location will solve all the problems of both clubs; it won't and in fact, in the long run, would cause more problems than it resolved.

i can understand you not wanting to share i wouldnt want to share with hull but this seems to be dragging on neither you or cas seem to be any closer to getting a new stadium i think you will be forced to share in the end to keep in SL which would be a shame because i think you lose your identity when 2 teams share a stadium

How many more times do we have to tell you people.
If the public inquiry rules in our favour it is go for Wakefield.
The funding is all in place.
Wakefield council ruled mindful to approve unanimously.
If it had not been sent to the PI a year we would be well on our way.

TBH we don't know how near or how far away we are from our development happening. Its going throught the public enquiry now and we will have a definite answer by March at the latest. if we get the nod, then at the moment we are very very close to getting our stadium, if however its a no then we're miles away. Don't know how long Cas' will drag on as you correctly put it but our dragging on will only last another 3 and a half months at the most. Nerve wracking times, this decision will shape the future of our club and more than likely its existence. How you can say we are no closer to getting a new stadium is beyond me really, as i said its a yay or a nay in March, if its a yes then the building will be starting a lot sooner than you think!

Is our hate for one another going to get us both thrown out of SL just because we can't agree on sharing a Stadium? Come another 2 years will it really matter? Because let's be honest, there's a very good chance niether of us are going to have a Stadium and will most probably get thrown out in favour of Northampton or/and some French club.'"
Our chance is exactly 50% if the enquiry goes in our favour its all systems go, everything is in place. Sounds like we've had another good day at the enquiry today so who knows maybe our chances are growing above the 50% mark, then again the inspectorate might be leaning the other way. 50/50 in true terms, people who have witnessed the enquiry first hand (Inflatable Armadillo The Clan etc) will have a better feel for how things are going. That said i'm sure there'll be a few more bumps on the ride yet!!

| So say (purely theoretical) a really rich man who loves rugby buys a patch of land in Normanton builds a really fancy 16k stadium and then says i want Wakefield Castleford and Featherstone to have it, for free no strings, one full stand all kitted out with offices and a club shop for Wakefield, another stand for Cas and one of the end stands for Featherstone.
Would you have it?

theoretically you'd have to be mad to turn it down, no matter who you support! Take the fourth end is for away fans lol

Yes, would the fans be up for that though or is the rivalry too strong?
You'd have 3 distinctive stands in the colours of the respective clubs and an away end

| In a neutral location such as Gods Country (Normy) I don't think many would have reservations about ground sharing.n However to ask Wakey to play in Cas and Vice Versa, same with Fev then obviously its a big no no. would you want Wire playing at the Stobbart on a regular basis?

Yes because that is a very different scenario. Oddly I think it is what most non Cas/Wakey fans actually believe to be the case, but it isn't.

| What was the main reason for the non starter then?

Unlike most other clubs with a shiny new stadium, we don't have and never have had either a wealthy sugar-daddy or a helpful council.
Most of our current plight is due to a combination of the above.

Going back to your original question, would you have considered sharing with Wire & Saints in Liverpool ????
Absolute non-starter.
The only way that a groundshare/merge could have taken place may have been right at the begining of SL and it was muted at the time.
However, neither Cas, Fev or ourselves were in favour.
