Its a real shame that JM has had to do this. There is nothing to update other than due diligence is still ongoing but having to reiterate this due to what appears to be some rumour (unfounded) spreading. Some people need to rely on facts not opinions or rumours from others, Not that many will know a great deal about the law around contracts and also potential defamation etc. that said some people may find themselves in a tricky situation by posting potentially damaging allegation/accusations without any substance.

Wow. Just wow!

Good update from John but it wasn’t needed. They already informed us of the process and it was blatantly obvious that things were still taking place as they would with a deal this magnitude. It would be as expected.

Should the deal fall through we would have had news I’m sure or vice versa. In 4 weeks it will be the kit man or groundsmam blocking a deal no doubt. Be running out of eggs at the local shops.

We all want the deal done now so we can start looking to a better future, but frustratingly, these things take time. The extra funding has bought breathing space for ME to make sure he is happy with what he is purchasing. Whilst it's poor form for people to cast aspersions in the absence of news, it's a good thing to make regular updates of where matters lay.

I know in business most people do as JM has done and keep quiet so not to compromise the deal, but sport is very public business with fanatical interest. A bi-weekly update confirming negotiations are still on going wouldn't go amiss.

Know Legends of the club are the past players who have given 100% plus to the club, but after what M C and J M have done to the ground for the fans ,Think there up there with the best, It is Wakefield's ground, not some Football owned ground like most of S L clubs who are millions in det. Well again only rummors and ment in a good way but i hear full cap spend including 2 marquee players which should give us a better squad add to this the revenue the stand pitch and wakefield football bring the club.lets just hope its spent wisely
