few set backs today in supplies today but we have over come it and are near back on track to getting the west stand done by weds,

there was a major problem with the steps that caused the original test failure and four out of the five barriers showed up why, had these had the same depth of concrete under the fixings as just in front of them they may not have given way the way they did, either way they still wouldn't of passed and they are now being fixed like the east stand and won't require bracketing. Glenn should be proud of his lads as they endured digging holes deep enough and found it so heavy going that it took them well into the evening. I'll stick to what I do best



so after a long 11hr day I only managed to get 4 welded but made sure that the 5 that need sinking was ready for the mix tomorrow but it didn't help when the heavens opened up and drenched us

Today I took time out to talk to our longest serving helpers at Belle Vue Mrs B

she's 84 year old and has given over 40 years service in helping in the background, the stories she was tell us had us smiling and had to take time out while she had us stood.

in her honour I thought it was right that she too had her name on the west stand

having been given the motivation today to carry on regardless by Mrs B how can the team do the same.

our defence is dire, each and every player should be looking to them selves and asking if they are giving their best, looking either side of them and helping their fellow player encouraging them when they are looking slow or making silly mistakes, lets have a different attitude team up then you'll see the confidence change.

from what I was told the first twenty wasn't that bad and then you let it run away

its up to the council we have tested the brackets to see if the design was suitable to the test and it was, we had one failure if you call it that was stopped testing in which highlighted that every barrier leg required a bkt, we replicated each leg to the same standard so there shouldn't be a problem as their is no deterioration over a period of time.
the club is making great strides to make sure that safety is within the green guide line of stadiums
as yet it not been given the green light
when you do or if you come on good Friday just take note how tidier it is and still room for improvement

Will do mate, just always nice to know if you can pay of the gate, I'll be there but just for those that leave it till the day. Shame its 3pm ko too but I get the reasons why.

No disrespect to the club but I didn't notice it was green

I go to watch a match I couldn't give 2 hoops what I'm stood on and what colour the walls are. I suppose if the team carry on playing like they are I will have more time to look at what's around me instead of watch the garbage on the pitch

that's good so maybe all will notice how clean and tidy its getting, the green has gone and for good will put up a few pics later as I've just got back after a 12hr stint......

my target of getting all the welding done today has failed today

but there only 3 left to do

so will be in on Saturday even though I was thinking of having the weekend off,
it would of got done but did some other minor repairs that was more important, there is painting to do and my side kick Martin is bobbing down tomoz with Bob to catch up.

Looks great could never understand the logic in painting it green.

it was down to glover and a some kind of green company or something, might of fitted better in a field, Chris was mighty impressed when he looked behind the blocks

Just need the red line to separate the blue and white now and it certainly looks miles better.

I've had far more satisfaction tidying up behind there than watching the team recently.
