The ridiculous 4 day turnaround and the cheat that is Kendall aside that performance was embarrassing.
I was past caring last season and thought long and hard about going at all this season but more fool me I bought a season ticket to support the club.
I really wish I hadn't. It wasn't as though cas had to play good rugby to thrash us.
Have the players no pride. If they couldn't give a toss why the hell should we?
We also have the most brain dead players in the league. Three of the most ridiculous ball steals I have ever seen gifting ground to Cas, barmy offloads and lazy errors early in the tackle count. I could go on but it's raising my blood pressure.

That was inexcusable, after such a strong start to the season to play like that tonight is hard to take. From the first minute you could tell we were in for a long night. I actually thought before the game we'd actually beat Cas, I couldn't have been more wrong. I'm not one to throw the players under the bus but everything we did was amateur. The Mcshane try was just embarrassing!

It has to be the turn around. Yes the scoreline against Wigan doesn't really paint the picture but the intensity in defence was as good as I've seen from us in a long time. Its burnt us.

Not sure Lino us 100% fit, Gaskell wasn’t good today hopefully Brad Walker might get a chance on Monday. We didn’t appear switched on at all and have missed our best chance in years to beat a castleford side who aren’t that good .Grandson who is 10 said tonight he’s only seen us beat them in a friendly. Unfortunately he’d rung me the other day to see if I would take him to Wigan so I bought the tickets. Looks like it will be a fair few pounds wasted with the cost of tickets petrol and food

Imagine if everyone on this forum rocked up to work tomorrow and were as bad at their jobs as them numpties tonight. Do we have any self employed tradesman?…. Wouldn’t be getting paid for doing a rubbish job would they?? ……. Nurses/paramedics/ Dr’s etc…… yes some poor patient would be getting some very poor care …….
These lads need to take a look at themselves and realise they live in a bubble where they can play inconsistent and rubbish yet still get paid and just roll onto next week. They want to spend a week in the shoes of the spectators who properly have to graft to earn day in day out and pay a lot of money and give up a lot of time to go watch them put in performances like that, the bunch of wage stealers.

There’s a decent point in here somewhere… but I don’t think the analogy works totally… teachers doctors and nurses are not in a gladiatorial profession … where where they are judged by beating other teachers doctors and nurses… there’s a physical and mental side to professional team sport which means if either of those aspects is off.. then the opposition will prosper…

I’ve worked in environments where people have not tried… been incompetent and even deliberately sabotaged the work… and because of the others in their team and that there is no opposition to take advantage of this, their efforts (or lack) have been hidden, obscured in the overall ethos of doing a good job.

I can be disappointed or even angry when things don’t work out… at work at home and in sport…

… but my overall feeling watching the score develop on Twitter was disappointed… but I’ve been subject to the vagaries of being a Rugby League fan for long enough to know that the good bits are worth suffering the bad bits!

But that’s a personal choice and ultimately if that’s the criteria by which you spend money for entertainment… maybe competitive team sport is not for you!

You’ll be back in the game come Monday VM I’m sure. I got briefly angry at the game but then it’s just that resigned, been here a million times before feeling that takes over.

Just look at our record against Cas. Other than the purple patch in the mid to late 2000s, when we used to beat them for fun, it's absolutely appalling.

Hard to defend anything after tonight's utter dross.
However, many were lauding the side after the double over Wire and the first half v Wigan was excellent.

It's clear that we need Fifita back a.s.a.p. and Miller too.

To be so far behind a Cas side that has been so hit and miss is just depressing.

Prove the bile that comes out of your mouth then Eastern. What's deeply wrong with the club. Bear in mind several things.
1. You got removed from the club, so know as much as the rest.
2. If the problem is deeper....crikey Warrington x 2, doing it hard but winning against Salford, a game we lose the last few years.
