If we could keep Murphy and bj its not all bad. Not too bothered about losing millard. Good player but we dont utilise him enough.

| good enough squad to give Catalans a decent game IMO - JR will have extra motivation and could be the matchwinner...

| should try to keep murphy. unfortunately other teams in the rugby league "family" will continue to pick the bones off trinitys carcass for players on the cheap so any player could be leaving. Trying to keep the talented young players is key to any future trin have. Its out of glovers hands so bleak times ahead till deal finalised

What a stupid thing to say. I think it is clear why there is a change of mood.
If we can replace these players with more appropriate players for our bank balance and ongoing strategy of buying young, English and hungry then I'm not too upset.
If this is where we are and more young players go, then we might as well just move to lower divisions now and let the other vultures have a bye.
I'm not one to get emotional over these things but I'm upset with the attitude of Hull and Huddersfield and others to come I should think. If it really is a Rugby League Family they could at least let us survive honourably and take the players when they are out of contract at end of year.
Anyway, I hope we grind out some wins against these teams this year. I will be screaming my head off in support of the Trinity team that takes the field against all odds this year. If they can keep putting their best in, no matter how good that is.....I'll be there!

| It seems that we probably will get the six point deduction, as the administrators are doing their best to pay off the debt, therefore there will be nothing for the new owners to take on, and six opints.
I wish that the RFL would speed up the "fit and proper person" approval. My understanding was that this had been provisionally granted.
Shame to see these guys go, but you can't blame them.
Does seem to be a dicrepancy when they say the administrators have to accept offers, yet Aaron Murphy decided to stay loyal to the club - well which is it?

Advice is what we seek when we already know the answer - but wish we didn't

| Not having a dig at you supporters because I can only imagine what you're going through but.....
If I was one of the fancied players on your roster, I'd ask the administrator what it would take to buy me out of my contract. A free agent would make a far more attractive option to many clubs.

As stated several times before, players CANNOT be forced to accept personal terms. The deals offered to fergie and sam were obviously more attractive proposals than the one offerd to murph.

Logic does not follow, the reason that Crusaders got 4 was there commitment to paying debt, without offloading, we have sold to furnish the debt so should be looked on kindly by the RFL...
...and I just bought some magic beans of a very nice man!!
