Cas desperately need 2 halves as Richardson isn’t up to the job of a starting SL half despite early promise.

I’ve no doubt they will be bringing in both Widdop and Miller.

I just hope we are looking to replace Miller if he does go and add not going to be relying on Gaskill.

I don’t see any halves who are up to the job and available in SL so I’d say we will need to be using a quota spot on a new half.

But based on that information, you have a dig saying we are not negotiating well and imply Vastman has a close relationship with MC. The same with Luton. Which you don't know.

It's certainly tricky with half backs.
Warrington, of all clubs, have show how difficult it is to find decent halves and get them performing.
On paper they've been spoilt with quality halves but, on the field of play, they have simply wasted £1000's.
Widdop, Austin (now at Leeds), Williams, Rachford etc have all had some decent games for them but, have never lived up to their respective price tags.
Letting Chris Hill go to Huddersfield seems to have hurt them way more than they may have expected.

Back to Trinity, Miller has been solid ove a number of years and as Warrington have proved, if your pack doesn't do their job effectively, it doesn't matter who is playing in the halves.
It's all about the battle in the middle and then you need some quality to exploit any space.

It wouldn't surprise me if we ended up with Richardson if Miller departs.

Lino, Gaskill and Richardson competing for 2 half spots would be a disaster going in to 23…unless we don’t avoid the drop in which case I’d be over the moon with it.

Can’t see any other option than using a quota spot on a half to parent Lino and to replace Miller assuming we retain SL status with Gaskill as backup.

I have no doubt what Dunkirk quoted was said and why should anyone. I suppose you could get others who attended the lunch to confirm this but I will leave that to you because you do not believe it and need proof.

As far as I m aware we only have one contracted player taking up a quota spot for next season. Big Dave keeps talking about exercising his extra year option on his contract and as he proved on Sunday he’s still our most influential player.

I wouldn’t say no to another 12 months if arona wanted to play on. So that leaves 2 slots personally think that if miller stays then , the other slot has to be a big prop. If he goes a prop and a half back

No disrespect to miller if he goes at the end of this season , hopefully not . My big worry going forwards isn’t Milky it’s a replacement for Fifita , don’t think there is a player in super league that has the ability to get the crowd whipped up like he does or indeed rally the players, a true talisman or whatever other superlatives you want to call him, that is going to be one huge hole to fill when he decides to call it quits .
