| Quote: El Rey "The difference is they are being groomed a few games at a time, educated into the match day and game set up, this happens over a period of time, younger players need more recovery time at SL level.
We just use and drop them has and when its needed.
Thats not my first 17 Bren thats Agars.'"
It was a genuine question Al - I don't know if that's what's happening to our lads, or not; on the surface, it seems that the two things are broadly the same, but I accept that the small details are important.
For clarity - it's not mine either; my first 17 wouldn't have Washbrook anywhere near it, neither would it have Sammut anywhere other than at 6.

From memory Wildie is first choice in the 17 for Wigan away and thats the only time.
IMO playing Sammut at fullback is barking mad bordering lunacy.

| If Walshaw does not play the next game it is an absolute travesty. He caused the giants problems in attack with some good offloads thrown in and was rock solid in defence. Well done Lucas

| I cant remember but someone on here was fighting the corner of Walshaw at centre?
Who was it ? Wait it was me! Proven correct once again.
BEING BIG DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY PUT YOU IN THE FORWARDS!

| Completely agree with the last few posts....from what we are hearing from people who went he's had a cracking game.......reacted exactly the way he should have done after going out on loan....
Got some game time, got his chance with a few injuries....been match fit and slotted in and taken his chance with both arms.....serious questions if he doesn't play at Hull.....well done Lucas....great attitude!

| One thing I do know bren you say I drone on about my superier knowledge well I know for certain when it comes to youth rugby from 16 onwards your not in the same class 'you've given your opinion on wildie and walshaw I've seen em both as academy players and I've seen our current crop, the 16s have looked impressive but if you do know about young lads youl know the next 2 to 3 years will tell us shoes gonna make it with the right coaching of courses lot of attention as been forecast on young jowitt looks a decent prospect , but I saw the Bradford u19s winger run over him twice and yet some on here want him to play super league'no chance not in the same class as wildie and walshaw or even southernwood at that age I've said it before when I was coaching pro clubs couldn't approach players until after 16i assure you I had the best players in Yorkshire mainly until 17 the likes of Jason Robinson and Paul newlove and if we produce lads like them we'll do well

Another laughable post by the genetic clone of Frank Stanton and Wayne Bennett, bigging yourself up again at the expense of a young kid, shameful.
