Yes snowie well proud of the lad for all his problems in life we have tried to bring him up as any normal kid hard as its been at times.
Did no one get a picture of the the foot plate on the front barrier nearest the north stand - some one left his mark

came to Belle Vue tonight with all intentions of just tinkering with the last 4 barriers on the east stand but it always end up going that bit further,
it becomes quite additive when there are others working hard at the side of you, Glenn was down again today with his lads repairing a wall that will get the south end stadium entrance a reopen, I finished it off with the welding on the fencing.

I can't get down there now until sat afternoon 12-30 ish due to commitments and work but the ground is open to anyone that can help out.

bar for a cosmetic job of painting the East stand is now accomplished it now up to the powers that be (wakefield council officials) to give the rubber stamp. don't hold your breath



any one that is calling earlier Saturday to help out we could do with a total sweeping of the terracing on the east stand picking up any debris that we might of missed, a few with brushes will do the trick. also there a game on, the u19s take on Bradford bulls after their cracking win away at Hull kr.

I doubt there will be any painting done on the Saturday as there is the u19s game on and of course the cup game after on Sunday with Leeds, wouldn't want to have wet paint on clothes like it happened to someone when they went to Dewsbury once, if you can make Saturday with a sweeping brush there is a need to make sure that there is nothing left on both sides that we have been working on

Sincerely well done to everyone involved and their efforts. As someone living outside the Wakefield area, with extensive travel plans and family commitments I can only apologise for not being able to physically help you with this.

I hope that once the job is done and the capacity lifted that MC (Daddy Cool) give you significant recognition and reward. I know that by knowing you've helped the club is sufficient but a gesture of hospitality/match viewing from the director's box or something similar would be a worthy reward for your stellar efforts.

Fergus has swept west stand from flats to dug out. A leaf collector would be useful for the stray bits of ticker tape if anybody is going down later

going a little bit further now than the council as asked for, today we repaired two gates which wasn't working properly these aid exit in emergency situations.

there was a clean sweep of both east and west stands to remove and debris and a quick trim of any bolts that was high.

no areas was painted not to leave any wet areas

That's the spirit and glad your young un got involved.. We as a nation with the tone set by the media criticise and publicise misery, grief and poor decisions. We however are not as forthcoming with praise. A thank you costs nothing! Top effort and I know the management team are pleased with the effort!

id have the entire squad helping u until its finished and show the commitment you have shown and the effort youve put it then id send them down a mine for the rest of the week then make them come to training on a night like they used too make them realise what a priviliged position there in doing something they love for a living

I will be down around 10am mate to help out.I will bring a few sledge hammers/picks/spades/shovels and the players can spend a day breaking concrete steps up and repairing them
