I though Jowitt was good again but I fear he will get a ban for sliding in with his knees on Newman.'"
Don't agree with that tbh. Leeds played the same in both halves and were never more than ordinary. We bossed the SH and showed that we can play decent RL.
However, until our players finally realise that you cannot play only half a game, especially only a second-half we won't beat anyone. This is not new either it's been a recurring issue since 2019! It cost Chester his job and it will cost Poaching unless he roots it out.
I think the last time I saw us get into a team from the start was against Hudds last year and even then we tailed off at the end. However, the damage was done by then and Hudds couldn't come back. Yet for some reason we now seem to be trying to win games after giving teams a start when we need to start at minute one, not minute 35.
I'm no coach and I have no idea how to rectify it, but I like most on here can see it as clear as day and I'm certain WP can.

| Credit to Poching I'd say. We (Leeds) completed well, kicked well and moved the ball wide quick first half, taking advantage of a threequarter line defending uncertainly. In the half time break he got your defence straightened out and put some steel back into you. Game had gone - which can happen to anyone - but he knew what was needed and how to sort it.
FWIW I reckon you'll win comfortably next week.

Or another way to look at it was that two second row forwards in the centres was a bad idea! I've said elsewhere that Leeds played good fast rugby, which they did, because we were woefully slow on the flanks and left wingers exposed.
WP did somehow do something in the SH but the damage was done.

Think your hard on W Poaching in fact I would go as far as to say it shows how bad Chester was at building a team and Coaching Think we can see that we are much fitter at the beginning of the season than we have been for a long time.As said Chesters new signings are the same play one game have 4 off that as been excepted over the last 3 year . Poaching as been left with little of the budget for new players and yet they look far better than most of the players that Chester had brought in over the last 3 year .Poaching is a coach that does not turn a 2 week injury into a 5 week plus injury by bringing the players back too soon . Think fans should lay of W Poaching till he as had time to put is mark on the Team .because I have already seen more positive than negative this season than in the last three year

| No budget for WP because the money for this season was spent by CC.
What a bloody crazy situation.

He was 18th man, but he hasn't played much rugby recently and WP must have had his reasons for playing Batch and Pittsy. Think both our centres were 'hung out to dry' last night, especially by their team-mates in not assisting in covering across and in this respect the loss of Milky early doors didn't help, as this is something he excels at.

He was still an option, or 'choice'. Understand the reasoning for Pitts to play by the side of Murphy. Young lad on his debut with an old head on his inside, it just didn't work out. For some reason it threw the whole teams defensive structure into disarray and with one or two quick cut out passes, we had a four on two on both sides of the pitch.

No why on earth would we?
Hall, Lyne and a few others will be back in contention by next week or the week after.
I’m with WP on this, why have an academy if you won’t use them. Especially to just bring in some bit part player.
If we were suffering a major long term injury crisis then maybe but for me that’s an unnecessarily premature and panicky move,

Leeds completely exposed our new "centre partnership" and we never recovered.
Remembering that Leeds hadn't managed a win prior to last nights game, we were awful.

That's where the missing LED from the Donny Road corner floodlight pylon went then!!!
