I wish this is all they cared about and maybe that would, in turn, solve the stadium out at Newmarket. But when about only 130 jobs and one building has been built in all these years. on one of the best places left along the M62 to build warehousing, you even after question that. |

Yep, it is. I'm surprised they're even trying to build such a big retail project in today's high street climate tbh. Especially as there's quite a number of shops etc down that area already. |

Call me pedantic but why is it being framed as 'new rugby ground' rather than 'community stadium'? As we know, this is something the people of Wakefield have been duped by not just rugby fans. Also 'was once earmarked for new rugby ground'....it still is...or atleast it should be! I suppose we can rest assured knowing that new jobs will be created though. Oh and Box has told them to walk away, so I guess that's all he can do really...

I suspect you're correct on that one. With their track record on this subject I can't see them having been proactive in seeking out a story. Fortunately we have some people working on this that won't let Box and his cronies or Yorkcourt, or even the Wakefield Express get away from their obligations. |
