Would just like to say for anyone a bit unsure....they're a great bunch of blokes...and if you've only limited skills for whats needed (like me) they will find something for you and your help will be needed and appreciated...

Not the biggest fan of painting in the World and the way I see football at the moment I would probably prefer to paint and then watch the paint dry to be honest!

Can definitely do a few hours Sunday....will be mid morning though as I'm under instruction to let the Mrs have a lay in with it being mothers day....

Still trying to organise toddler for Saturday morning....will prob know more tomorrow...

Bit of bad news I was hoping to have one guy helping me over the weekend but is still on site working on brighton pier and cant make it, hopefully ive convinced my gaffa to help out so he may have him for at least half the day. Ive still taken all times of completion with just me welding but it means I cant break off to do other jobs so if your down let me keep welding and nick will be able to direct you to what needs doing

you would be surprised how easy tonight felt, just cleaning up the bkts has helped big style, were getting there now for the sunny weekend

On Sunday we had over 5000 people in the ground, let's say 4000 wakey fans. Many of them singing "I'm Wakefield till I die", yet on Saturday we had 8 or 9 people turn up and work all day, I worked all day Sunday, left the house at half 9 got bak in at 8 pm. Steve locking, Nick Hughes and a few others are giving their all to get the ground up to scratch so the club can make make enough revenue to remain sustainable (I'm not talking profit, I'm talking being able to pay the bills). We have had requests from ladies who are of an age that they shouldn't really be expected to help but they want to be involved. A handful of fans have battled and battled, given our time and skills, not for reward but because we care. It's time to stand up and be counted people, if you love Wakefield then contact Steve either via here or via the club (Chris brereton). I can't make it any simpler than this - if we don't get the work done the club will not make enough revenue this year to survive. We are up against it, as always, it's not easy being a Wakey fan but if we all pull together we can have a fighting chance of getting to where we want to be. Thanks for all the help so far and all the offers of help to those who haven't been able to get involved just yet, the finishing touches are now required, a couple of hours is all it will take. Please help. Thank you.

Wakey supporters not involved in the modifications cannot start to think of the hard work and commitment this man is putting into this great club.

Cant speak to highly of the sterling effort that Snowie is putting in for the club went down today to give a hand even though I had only had an hours sleep since 09.15 on Friday being on nights and family matters to be at the ground for 6am.My eldest lad also down with me and he has Aspergers so come on lads and lasses if we can get down to give a hand Im sure others can.Its only a very small band of people who are making the effort about 10 today in total but everyone of them has given time up with familys etc.They were doing it not for reward but for one reason the love of this club they need all the help they can get so please please get involved don't be shy this club needs you.

many thanks to all that came down even if its just for half a day or even giving us support, just simply standing by the genny today like John did just changing power for me was a god send saving me time getting up and down, thanks also to Clare who did her little bit of painting which again helps keep things moving, alsso to Les and his son who worked hard all day fetching, carrying and vacing its at times like these that you realise that you can group together and achieve the impossible.

Can only echo the sentiments of the above...its times like this that make me proud to be in love with this club and some of the great people who support it...

2nd week for me and feels so good to get stuck in and give a helping hand....what Snowie is doing is unbelievable and Mr Brown and his boys too....then the other troops....Martin, Nick, Andy and Trev....phenomenal efforts....and to the
few others i've seen down last week and this!!

Proud to have been a bit part of such a superb team...
