Last season we were a team/squad bereft of any ideas in attack, up pops Tongia with some flair and pace and he was like a shining beacon of light in a very dark place.
This season coming we will have creativity all over the park and we don't need Tongias defensive frailties, Dean Collis, Isaac John, Tim Smith, Andy Ellis and Lauitiiti off the bench will provide lots of attacking flair.
If he's under contract we should be duty bound to honour it but if he's got very little chance of making the 1st team then whats the point for both him and us in him being here. Better for all if we can find a way for him to move on and play regularly for someone else and perhaps showcase his tallent while learning to improve his weaknesses.

If we dont retain Tongia who other than Cockayne will be able to play full back? Its a specialised position and for me we need to have another option in case injury strikes.

On that interview Agar did on the Trinity website he said that he was after bringing another full back in, along with a prop so maybe he has his sights set on someone.
