It's getting zilch support from me on principle. I was one of the 15000 that supported the new stadium on green belt. I am in no way supporting this. I feel so sorry for the locals who at the time were basically cast adrift. Sorry but no support from me as I say on principle.

Fair enough, but it's done now so it won't change that, so it's an expensive principle, just so you know.

Look at it this way, they have mugged you good and proper but getting 8 million off them for BV means at least you gave them a good kick in the balls on the way. Handing over that cash will hurt YC, as they weren't expecting to have to pay it until Box went.

If plot 8 doesn't go through we get nothing whilst YC will sit on that land until eventually, they get it passed, but it will be too late for us then.

I understand all that but my integrity prevents me from changing my mind the whole thing has turned into a disgrace. I know my lack of support will make no difference to the outcome but if you have a drive on there or if you have you will what those residents are getting not a stadium used a day a weekish but those monstrosities in there gardens!

Can't argue, all I can hope is at least some of them got jobs.

What stuns me the most is for traditionalists like you I’d have thought the BV revamp option would be more preferable to moving to NM. What we are getting in many ways is what most fans actually wanted, an updated BV, yet we are still being negative.

They conned us to get something from the council and the people of that area but not Wakefield trinity.

But we do now have a new opportunity and it's worth the work to make sure we do actually realise this opportunity.

Should this so called partial upgrade come to pass then JM has performed a miracle and you as a fan should be on your knees. Two years ago the club was effectively dead, it had NO future, how can you not see that, are you really that dim?

Now with a new council leadership and a smart BOD the whole thing has changed for the better.
