However some of thier dull, patronising and rather myopic fans are getting on my tits.

You've been playered then. Most players will tell you exactly what they think you want to hear. Most unreliable sources of information in the game along with their dads Best source, club secretary or whatever the modern day equivalent is.

Either way he is a centre for me and he was for Kear - Agar may see it your way who knows.

I would hardly call Dowes,Obst Washbrook ,Lauaki ,Burnett or Phelps "past it"
One or two "liability" yes.

Dowes, Phelps, Burnett aren't any better than what we have. Obst whilst a slight improvement would block the development of Wildie/Davey/Moore who are coming along nicely.

Washbrook and Lauaki may marginally improve us but I'd hope we'd retain Morro or Howarth.
