| Quote: Outwood Vic "I think we only add 'fuel to the fire' by even discussing this. This is not the sort of publicity the club needs just over a week before their first game of the season. It may well affect the players mentality approaching the game (imho it won't) if they think JK might be tempted away..........
Lock it
Spot on Let them with nothing better to do on the other boards discuss it there.

Please don't go John.'"

| August 06: Sky TV: Would you take the Wakefield job? Answer: I haven't been asked.
January 2010. Would you take the England job. Answer: I have not been approached by the RFL.
Gulp!! Well, it sounds like he'll be approached soon.
I hope not, but he has to look after himself and his own security. Maybe he'll end up at Cas eventually, once England go pear-shaped again. He would end where he started. Kind of fitting, but I hope it doesn't happen.

| Let's presume that there's some strength to the rumour, would that mean that the rfl have at some point spoken to john, who is after all under contract. If that was a club speaking to an under contract player, wouldn't that club be fined by the rfl?
So if any of this is anything other than papertalk shouldn't, whether or not they get their man, the rfl impose a fine for tapping him up in the first place on themselves?
