| Quote ="Fred Gee"I think Kear and Broadbent need to "TAKE A BOW SON" as Andy Gray says.Apart from Brough and potentially one or two others which we could argue about all day he has took a team of solid average hard working pros and took them over a season to the position we are in now....just think we could quite easily be where Shudds or HKR are, are now.
Just think wher we could be if we will had a stand off , a Korki style prop all season and a ball playing loose forward.'"
in grix we have a stand off, or loose forward at prop see tronc!

| jk inherited the squad..he has improved the squad and the players and got rid of the dead wood (scumthorpe) .. the way we have played this year has been a big step up for me and the rugby we have played at times is "un wakey like".
we nearly beat leeds, beat saints, lost to hull kr due to a cheap shot on drew (pity we didn't do one on briers last night!)
i think that we could be the dark horses in the play off's.
THANKS JK!

At that time SF was the architect in cheif regarding player signings.
The system is now down to the football committee, with JK clearly an integral part of that process. ![Very Happy icon_biggrin.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_biggrin.gif)

Many people make that prediction every year and long may it continue. Keep writing Wakefield off, for it provide Kear with the right tools to get the best out of his players.
Even after the dummy spitting and knee jerk reactions of many during the 10 game losing streak I always said it would be criminal to ditch a guy who has not only turned the club around on the pitch but also off it. My opinion at the time was there was no one better placed or qualified to steer things and that is still my view now. Stability goes a long way to securing (relative) success and the club is obviously better off for it.
