That back line would get ripped to shreds.

Numbers 1-5 look threatening... the remainder look very beatable.

I would give Goulding a game rather than having Lyne out against Watkins or Moon.

Leeds aren't in great form but, they doo look very dangerous 1-5.
Our pack can certainly match/beat theirs and it looks as though it will be the defensive capabilities of our three quarters that will probably decide the game.
Hall vs Fox is a particular worry and maybe having Mario on that side may help ?

If you look at the round-up of the games involving dual reg and loan players on the club website, Goulding isn't even starting for Dewsbury, so I don't think it'd be much of an advantage playing him in this game.

If Cowling can't even get into this squad then it's time we let the lad move on for his sake. To think we could have Mariano (who has played alright at centre as cover) playing against Watkins is scary.

Fox in defence with a new centre partner is concerning. Ryan Hall will be rubbing his hands together at that!

I think its best to concede Hall is going to win pretty much everything in the air so let him get on with it and when he lands bang him into touch.

Tauti not in the 19 man. Shame. Cowling is brilliant but I do feel sorry for him he gets shoved in against the big teams and big games and looks excellent. its beyond me why we didn't give him some run outs instead of Lynn.

Lee Smith plays better at centre and try as he might he's no stand off. We need to keep some structure if we can.

Hall is a quality player but he isn't nowhere near playing as good as he can for the past few months, he has only scored a couple of trys? His is a threat in the air however I don't think the halves; Sutcliffe and Burrow are not as good as Sinfield kicking from the hand (from what I have seen which isn't a lot).
If our forwards get on the front foot and we close down their halfbacks then we only have to worry about the back 5 who can make something from nothing.
I'm not too bothered if we don't get the win from the game on Friday however I will be slightly disappointed if we don't take the 2 points at our place.

I don't really understand the critics of Lyne because he doesn't really do much wrong, yes he kind off kills attacking play with ball in hand but it's something he can learn - get back to his early season form and it was the reason why Ben Cockayne was putting trys away for fun.

I think Tautai might be fit for next week for the home game which will be a huge boost for the team with a little bit more go forward and offload game.
Anyone know the details of Collis' injury and how long he'll be out for? I heard a torn hamstring but not sure its as bad as that. I guess he could do with an extra week off to just make sure anyway, if he does return against Leeds at home then it'll be another big boost for the lads.

Probably Goulding will be coming off the bench I most likely expect Wildie to be at stand-off (if not Lee Smith which I want him to stay in the centres.)

I dont think these lads were part of 1873 its more the u16's at the moment.

Why Goulding, he can't even get a game at Dewsbury after Donny showed him the door - his dad was good don't assume it's been passed on - the lad will be out of the game let alone the club unless he makes a huge improvement.

Subs. Wilkes, Raleigh, Wildie and Trout. Need an experienced SL player at 6 and Washbrook did ok the other week. Too short in centres to move L.Smith over and Wildie/Goulding not up to it.

For me its definitely a no to Washbrook at 6, however I think you are right that Agar will select him there. Swap Annakin and Kirmond around and I think you have it.

I suppose washbrook may settle at 6 for first quarter to soak up some mid field tackling the matyne we will see Goulding when Leeds starting props have had their stint.

Be interesting to see how agar plays this one.

Slightly nervous on if he'll perform or not having pressure being the only one who will probably kicking - unless Goulding comes on from the bench if hes picked there. Also maybe Wildie could do a stint in the halves?

Collis is a big miss
We're light at half back
It would have been a bonus if Tautai was available
Odds are against us and we'll be second favorites....which is when we have a nack of causing an upset.

That's ok short term, but for the good of Wildie and Wakefield in the long run Wildie needs to pick a position and master it before swapping and shuffling him around.

Goulding is nowhere near SL standard and although Agar doesn't talk to me about selections I would be gobsmacked if he got a game - I reckon Agar would select himself first.

Ignore the name and you have as far as I've seen a nothing player - you may as well play Ben Shulver at 6 you'd fair no worse.

FWIW Kay is a far better proposition.
