While I do, I know someone who does leaflet drops as a business. Ie. You give him the leaflets and he delivers them to doorstep all over Wakefield.
He does some big businesses so he's reliable.
He does this for my wife's business.

His standard rate is £30 per 1000. So £450 for a 15,000 drop across Wakefield.
Depending on where MC wants to target, that would give us a way of getting it done without using our own shoe leather.

So I'm happy for either but if it comes to delivery, I'll probably use this guy for my bit of the distribution either way.

That sounds about right, I’ve done a couple of leaflet campaigns for elections and have paid £30-50 per 1000 depending on area, £30 round Kettlethorpe but £50 out in sticks

Ok lovely people, had a great meeting with MC and JM last night, really sound blokes I have to say.

As someone who has had to deal with Walker, Box and Ted (though Ted deep down was a fan and a nice guy in his own way) it was a breath of fresh air.

It was part of a wider meeting which I can tell you nothing about other than to say that IMHO it's hugely exciting!!!

Both TRB and I left that meeting with every question answered and all satisfactory. If and with Trinity it's always an if, things go totally to plan then in less than 24 months our club will be transformed. Myself and I suspect TRB felt after 17 years this is as close as we have ever got to sorting the clubs future, ground wise at least.

So keep your eyes pinned on here for some hopefully very exciting news in the next, at a guess, six months.

So as for now, we are going with the leaflet drop for the Hull KR game, 15,000 targetted by PT's mate hopefully, MC is organising it from now on so PT he will be in touch with your mate.

On another note, I have finally tracked down a much better price for the Trinity Walk screen and the club are interested in using it at some point, so any excess contributions will go to that.

My logic and I know I'm being hugely optimistic is to save that one to advertise a success, such as a CCup final or major play off game, where I believe it will have a far bigger impact. What do you all think?

Heard some great stuff last night, can't share it right now I'm afraid. I know you like the rest of us you have taken a step back in recent years but just want you to know that all the hard work you, me, Phil, Phil, Sue, Matt, Dave and many others put in all those years ago is maybe about to pay off. Probably not on the scale as SWAG we once dreamt of but all the same I now believe we didn't waste our time all those years ago.

Sure certain people have got away with far too much but we are where we are and it's not as bad as it could have been HOPEFULLY.
