I sincerely hope we re sign Hampshire as he has his career in front of him and Brough hasn't.

I'd have thought if we were gonna resign Hampsh it would have been announced by now.

By the sounds of a previous post on a different thread, Hampshire has been offered a contract, maybe weighing up his options?

No. He's shockingly overweight, injury prone and from what I've seen offers hardly any creativity.

He was massively overweight. Tim Sheens seems to have sorted that last season looks like hes worked very hard on it. Probably has to keep working hard on it too. I agree though I think if you are looking for a new half you need someone who will come in and improve what you have and he wont. Be interesting to see who you guys end up with as you aren't far off challenging for the top four, and I think if you could get the extra fans in to spend to cap you would

Partly agree there Wilzay, but also agree with The pimp too..I think it is something that has been worked upon.

The way Hampshire played last night, certainly happy with him continuing to be our starting 7 into 2019, and kicking his goals well too.

Certainly think the philosophy of the half back situation is changing, may well be just a back up half that we need

I thought that was Hampshire's best game in a Wakefield shirt so far. He seems to be growing into the role and looked sharp every time he had the ball last night.

Totally agree Lyndsey, no brainer, Broughy has been one of the best over the years but Ryan is better now and can only get better.
