| Quote miamivice="miamivice"700 pages sounds like a lot of work. i have put 100 page presentations together and they take forever. so i think a "well done" needs to go to the staff for getting this done, especially in light of the change of owners, administration etc etc.
i bet a few teams like leeds and wigan just put their name on a piece of paper and sent it in!!!
so well done andrew/james/davide for getting this done.
as for our chances, it has been debated far and wide on this board. personally i think we have a glimmer, but not much more (unless the goal posts change)'"
I admit in my pessimism I forgot to say well done to the club for getting this document sorted. It can't have been easy.

Apparently that guy who does the sketches in the Express has done hundreds of drawings of what our ground may look like.....

AG and co are in a far better position to judge Oakwell as an option than we are. If he don't see it as viable he must have good reasons, not that we know for certain what his final decision will be
AG is the same as Ted, he will do it his way, that is his and his monies perogative. I don't mean to be rude but if you don't like it and think you can do better you buy the club and then you can do it your way

| Daddy Cool delivered the application. I don't know if that's a good thing or not.
Instead of putting all that money and effort into a 700 page document why didn't we hire Derren Brown?? He could have conditioned the RFL in such a way that when they see the colours red, blue and white together they start uncontrollably crying with joy. We'd be a shoe in then.

Crucialy, they're also in the best position to judge the mood of the RFL, whether they have a preference on how the stadium options stack up and how they are presented in the application.
I don't fall into the catagory of those who think this is cut and dried bad news for us!
I believe that, as fans, what we know, the speculation, the rumour, all the debate over stadiums and the d!€{ measuring that's gone on is the tip of the iceberg. The depth of research and investigation into the VALUE that each club holds and promises to hold will uncover much more than we think.
The club has done magnificently to produce the application which I'm told is very very good and credit to Davide and everyone who's been involved in producing it. Let's not forget that there will have been a major contribution to it by Francis Stephenson and some of the staff who left a couple of months ago and they deserve some thanks too.
