I really like McShane and some of the criticism of him is similar to the stuff Miller gets.
He works hard and puts effort in but people see him miss a tackle and he's supposed to be fat and lazy. What they don't see is he ran passed another player to try and make the tackle. I think we've just battered the skill out of him this year.
It's a shame.

Let's see what Moore can do.

Seems a weird one and maybe not the last but he is probably fitter than McShane as most players at other clubs seem to have been this year, although maybe we are catching up? Didn't look like it against Cas last week though did it.
What is certain is that we need 17 players who will give 100% for us come game 1 in the middle 8s.

Cas must be laughing their socks off now they can off load all their rubbish on to our gullible club.

What a bloody shambles, how the hell is our squad expected to compete with Leigh , Bradford and Halifax in the Middle 8. We know that we have no chance against the SL teams. Think Leigh and Bradford will stuff us and we may run Fax close.

I think we (Cas) have got the better end of the deal here and can totally understand the sentiments already mentioned regarding the relationship between our two clubs. I rate McShane and think he'll go ok for us. I don't think he'll have to do as many minutes at Cas or have as much pressure on him to create/perform, but it might be next season before we really see any benefit as his fitness isn't where it needs to be.
What I will say about Moore is that I was really unhappy when we signed him, but have got to hold my hands up and say he's a better player than I gave him credit for and he'll definitely add some steel to your defence. Barring the odd brain fart I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with him.

why are cas laughing at us ,hes just an average hooker,scott moore is just what we need for the middle 8.much tougher and loads of experience far better tackler than p mcshane imo.

M carter been asked on twitter if anymore players coming in and his reply "1 but its a longshot"

Given that McShane has been playing in a badly beaten side all season and Moore hasn't then those stats look even better for him. He is better in every other statistical area as well. He was our only ever present this year so he has certainly showed some toughness there as well.

As for experience, yes Moore has played about 40 games more than Mcshane, then again we are his 10th club change and 7th different club by the age of 27. Tells you something.

if a teams getting beat every week the coach has got to do something,getting rid of the weak links, thats what bs is doing,or do you want nothing to change and just carry on,dont underestimate bs or mc.
