I hope the reason his social media accounts are so quiet are because he is busy getting rid of Webster and sorting out a shortlist on who could replace him.

The malaise runs from the top to the bottom, it seems many have had enough. Whilst i wish he would i'd be amazed if Carter gets rid now, he went on record saying he wouldn't have sacked Agar either even when it was patently obvious he had to go. But next week against Leigh could be some kind of watershed, a defeat to championship opposition on national tv and a failure to act would be a deriliction of duty as chairman. I've never wanted us to lose before and to be honest i probably don't next week. But if it forced the change needed to help us maintain superleague status then maybe some good could come of it. Because i think if we drop down we may never make it back.

However, I don't think its been negative here... more so he is showing some passion for the club he supports and wants to see some fight at the very least. On paper, the squad we have looked poised to do things this year, especially after the first two games. Yes, we have had injuries but there is absolutely no way of defending that performance last night. Hull KR could well be in the middle 8 with us at the end of the season and can you see us turning that around? No, me neither. Leigh will come into the game next week as favourites despite been a league lower than us and away from home.

As for the Tony Smith / Teapot era, last night was very similar and the lack of passion in that era that ultimately drove me away from the club could well drive many more away this time around if it continues. I take no pride following the club far away from where I once used to but I woke up this morning £80 better off than I would have done say 8 years ago as I would have made the trip over the 62 then. I also woke up without a hangover !

Tony Smith, John Kear, Richard Agar, even Shane Mcnally... they all took the club as far as they could and left or were moved on. Some agreed, some disagreed with those decisions. It's looking like Webster has took us far as he is capable of too unless there is something internally which has been agreed upon after his press conference a few weeks back about not bothering till the middle 8.

And I gather they are getting a nice income from the Hockey side. I don't think it would be worthwhile for them or you to pay the costs of taking up the hockey pitch and putting a football pitch back in.

If worst comes to worst for you lot and you lose both your ground and your SL status surely sharing at Ossett Town (5 miles away) would be better than Doncaster (20+ miles away). I guess it would be cheaper too.
